That makes... more sense. Or maybe when he uses multiple at a time, the combined force it takes for him to focus makes them lesser with each additive.

And yeah, I agree. I hate having overpowered characters/dealing with them. It ruins the fun!

Can I be dragons? I know they dont really seem like they can hide, but I have evidence on how they can blend in.

According to some legends (I dont know the name but I know they exist, look It up), dragons pull an Among Us and can turn human and learn languages and live among humans. But they can also become massive scaly winged animals that breath fire (or other elemental stuff like water, ice, poison, and smoke). Dont worry, my character will only have 1 elemental breath (probably fire breath with some smoke attributes) and shifted from human to animal and back will be exausting (and makes them lose their humans clothes because thats what happens in the legends. Also, or he couls change the breath element at will thanks to some exhaustion, a slight loss of power, and only using 1 at a time instead of being limited.)

So, does this work? I really want it to work because. . . You know.

I know of a dragon that might work! It's called a shen (or chen), and they're chinese sea-dragons who can shapeshift. I double-checked and they're not a singular being (though they sound like one at first), and they're relatively open-ended. They do mirages, so if you're okay with an illusionary dragon the shen would be a good one!


If not then yeah a generic dragon is fine, though I'd prefer if you could find a specific species (such as a shen, a wyvern, wyrm, etc.)

Btw I found this species amusing to me becuase I just watched Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings which HEAVILY includes Chinese mythological animals, including Kelns (Chinese dragons that looks kinda like deer) and an actual Chinese dragon.

Google just gives me images of Chinese actors with the name, so sadly no. As far as I'm aware they look like the well-known look for a Chinese dragon (when they're not a clam...) though! If you don't want to use a chen that's perfectly fine, it's just what came to mind because I'm researching them.

I like that idea! Its a lot different then the winged dragons I use. So, Ill be a Chen, which (as far as I can tell) is a Chinese dragon at times, a big clam at others, and can make illusions so it can basically have a human form and blend in. Do I got it right?

Also, a personal thing. Can we do this as a 1 on 1? Doing RPs in groups triggers my anxiety since I fall behind and struggle to get back into the RP. If not, thats ok. But I would really like that so I dont have a panic attack or something.
