"Your worst nightmare."
He squeaked at her, in the most intimidating way he could think of.

"Wha!?!" she gasped before falling backwards onto the floor "What the hell?!"

Scias laughed coldly as he landed on the chair, getting a clear kick out of Zeth's panic at his dumb prank.

Zeth*

"Why you little..." she snarled at the little rodent. "Ingrate..."

Scias' form as a rat made Zeth chuckle lightly. "So I'm assuming you are stuck like this for now. This is pretty great. I'm finally taller than you."

"..Most I can really manage right now, yeah. Usually shifting to larger forms is stupid hard for me with my core already all messed up, but right now even a human form or my own form is impossible."

He stood up and gestured with a paw at the black sludge over the floor in the corner of the room.
"Trust me, I even tried earlier. Lucky you didn't have to see it."

Zeth*

"Owww, ya, that doesn't look fun." Seeing the mess in the corner, Zeth winced sympathetically. She hadn't a single issue with him being a rat. Far less annoying if you ask her and less mass to have to drag around.

He scampered up to her shoulder, patting her playfully on the cheek as he draped his tail down her shoulder.
"But I can do this, so it's not too bad. Shame you're not any taller though."

Zeth*

"Shame you're not any smarter," she shot back, a bit unamused at his playfulness. "As cute as it is, you trying to at like everything's alright, I'm still pretty pissed that you almost killed yourself." Her arms were crossed and she was intensely glaring at the small rodent.

"Look, I.. just didn't want to get into this, alright?"
He sighed a few errant sparks and shook his head, looking off to the side.

"I was just focused on getting you all to safety any way I could. Plus I had a plan which you went and ruined, by the ****ing way. And no, that didn't involve me getting myself killed."

Zeth*

"Oh I'm sorry, but me '****ing ruining you plan" kinda sorta saved your life. I don't know if it is just me that says this, but I am pretty damn sure that you are no good as a dead man." She said a bit more aggressively, frustrated that he would act cross over being rescued. "Pretty sure you and the military had two different ideas on how things would go, and from the looks of it, their way was the one to 'win'."

Despite her frustration, she had yet to pull him off her shoulder, but she was strongly considering it.
