She soon held it like a stick,hand on the handle and rounded part facing down. "Um..."

"Here. Like this." Kate put her own spoon down and guided D's hand to the correct way to hold the spoon. Or at least an easier way

D watched and seemed to mentally record it so that she could do it again next time on her own. "Oh...thank you."

Kate nodded. "It's just easier that way."

"Cool!" She said,tail wagging. She didn't seem to know what to do with it now.

Kate had sat back down and smiled. "Like this." Kate showed her how to use it, scooping up some cereal and milk from the bowl

"Oh...I see." She said,then did the same,shivering slightly as not being used to the action.

"You don't have to do that. You could always go like this." She set her spoon down and lifted the bowl to her lips

She blinked once with those lush eyelashes. "Hm...." She was confused now,how there was more than one way to do something like this.

"What's wrong?" Kate asked, setting the bowl back down on the table
