Lyra
"This was taken when you were six months old. Not long after, I came home to find James, your father, dead, and you missing. The house had been ransacked. But nothing was missing. Nothing, but my sweet, sweet Luca," Lyra said, choking at the end, "I've missed you so much!"
Lyra flung her arms around Luca, and pulled her in for a tight hug.

she looked confused and just stood there. "b-but?" she had always thought her mother abandoned her and her 'brothers' who had died before she was taken to the lab.

Suddenly, Lyra began weeping.
"I will always be there for you," Lyra whispered.

she was just frozen there confused af and just in shock.

"Luca?" Lyra whimpered quietly.

"i-i i just, i need a minute to process this." she said looking like she had seen a ghost

Lyra
"Take your time, love," Lyra said.

she crawled in the corner now remembering how those boys had helped her some out escape from somewhere else and lived out here for until they died and she had to live on her own but that didn't last long.

Lyra turned back to searching.

this can't be real if lyra was my real mom why didn't she tell me that at the beginning. why wait till now, that would have stopped me from trying to escape all those times... her non stop rambling in her head continuous.
