"I guess I could say I miss my former freedom as a messanger," Starlight finishes.


Selkie looked stunned, "Seaweed! Locke you are aware that Seaweed is nearby right?!"
At that Seaweed pokes his head above the water looking a little dizzy. He nodded once that he was okay.
That hurt, Seaweed muttered looking at Locke and Drayke, I know I'll keep even more distance when your praticing. I though under the water was good enough.
Selkie frowned his eyes flashing as he used his powers to rise up several seadragon like creatures all of them made of water and all of them looking ferocious. They circle Locke's ship like sharks before disappearing a few seconds later.
Selkie looked worriedly over at Locke, "I'm so sorry. Are you okay?"
Nathanial and Marcos look at each other knowingly as Percy backs away from the edge of the ship.

The other echinda quickly left the area and went back to the village.

Locke grimaced. "Sorry 'bout that mate," He called over to Seaweed. "We got a bit carried away, we'll be more careful," He added, glancing back at Drayke.

Collin nodded steadily. "Ah... Well, maybe you and I can work something out?" He suggested.

Seaweed shrugs, I should have been furthur away. My fault not yours. You okay though I've never seen Selkie summon anything like those water dragons before.


"Really,'' Starlight asks slightly suprised, "I wasn't expecting that one.''

Collin smiled. "Of course!" He chimed. "Besides, it's not pleasant working for an unhappy mistress," He added jokingly.

Starlight smiles sweetly, "Yes well I suppose there's a sense of irony there me cherrying you up then you cheerying me up with joke.''


Selkie breaths a sigh of relief, "I'm glad.''


The growl grew louder as the other echidna walked away.

"Well, they do say iron sharpens iron, so I wouldn't say it's ironic," Collin remarked, smile broadening. "Come on, let's go outside for a bit. Easier to think out there than cooped up in here."

Kaladin swallowed hard. "K-kai...? Is that you?"

"Apatos to resupply then I have a destination that I will go alone," Selkie explained calmly.

"Alright then come on," Starlight walks out of the room, "Lead the way Collin."

Kai pokes her head out from the den glaring rather harshly at Kaladin, Finally had enough of that squirming, yapping puggle of a pacient?

"W-what...?"Kaladin replied, taking an uneasy pace back.

Collin smiled warmly and led her outside. "Shall I ready the horses?"

"The island Kal's from,'' Selkie answers hoping his crew wouldn't figure out where he meant.

"Sure,'' Starlight quickly agrees.


Kai frowns, You've been so busy lately with your pacients.

Locke gave a short nod. "Aye, well, this is probably where we part ways, then. Put some thought into the apology letter, aye? He probably won't be as glad ta see ye as you are seein' him." He advised.
