"I might know someone who can stop and track the thieves," Clay retreated a few more steps back with his eyes closed.


Selkie looks in the direction Kaladin was looking, Where?

Maxillium looked up and frowned sympathetically. "Is something the matter, young Clay?"

This way, I think? Kaladin didn't sound entirely sure about that statement.

"Sorry Maxilium I'm sure you're very nicee but what I went through in my past if I failed or disappointed someone I hurt. I failed," Clay answers, "I don't know who or how they did this but I have a feeling the guild is involved."


Lead the way, Selkie tells him.

Kaladin went ahead, keeping a wary eye about him.

"And I believe you." Maxillium replied. "Don't worry; No harm will come to you here."

"Thank you," Clay smiles faintly, "do you want me to go grab the guard?"


Selkie follows Kaladin and keeps an eye out for trouble.

"No need. The crime has already been commited." Max responded.

A few minutes later, Kaladin shuddered. You feel this, right?

The cold, Selkie asks, or the dampness?


"True but the thieves might come back," Clay reasons.

The cold. Kaladin replied. Was it this cold before?

"True enough. Go on, then." Maxillium agreed.

Yeah it's normally this cold, Selkie assures him.

Clay walks out the door then starts running in Ajal's direction. After turning a cornor he slams into Night full forcing causing Raven to rear up in panic.
"Easy Raven easy girl," Night get in front of Raven with his hands raised toward her, "calm down. Calm down you're safe."
After a few tense minutes Raven settles down.
Night turns to Clay with a fire in his eyes, "What do you think you were doing?!"
"Trying to find Ajal," Clay whimpers.
"The docks not here."
"Need help finding the muesum," Clay trembles.
"No."

Sonic, who had been waiting at the museum's enterance, shouted over at Night. "Cut him some slack!"
