"We're gonna get right to that. Trust me." he reassured him softly.

Ethan nodded. "Thank you," he whispered, hugging Jason

Jason hugged back,holding him. "Of course."

"Id say Ash needs a healer."(Even though Jason just healed him -facepalm-) Puck glanced back at the prince and made a face, coming up behind Jason. "I know I would, if Id had a metal bug stuck inside my head. Probably screwed him up pretty bad. Luckily, I know a healer not far from here, but we should go now." Puck went back down the stairs and was crouched in front of the Unseelie prince, his lips moving soundlessly, but Ash was looking straight at Jason, his eyes glimmering slits in the gloom

Jason nodded,coming over but freezing for a moment as those silver eyes,beautiful silver eyes, where looking right at him. He avoided the gaze with his own and leaned on a wall,putting his head back and sighing softly as he closed his eyes and almost gave in to his exhaustion and pain. Almost.

"I hope Ash doesnt object to us dragging his carcass outside," Puck muttered as they made their way down the steps, getting dripped on every few feet. "You patched him up as best you could, but I dont think he can think very..." He trailed off as they reached the frozen living room. The front door creaked softly on its hinges, spilling a bar of moonlight across the floor, and Ash was nowhere to be seen.

Jason looked around for him,eyes searching for the winter prince but without prevale. He sighed and pulled at one of his horns. "Maybe I shouldn't have even tried or done that." he muttered,wings pulling close and tail between his legs. "Shoot....I'm an idiot." He muttered,shaking his head over and over and over. "Sorry Puck....I should've let you handle the fight."

"I wonder where he's going. C'mon. " Puck goes out on the porch and Ash, moving silently across the lawn to a black horse waiting for him in the shadows. "Where ya goin?" Puck asked

"I'm going back for the scepter."

Jason kept close behind Puck and shook his head at Ash. "Two things for ya' buddy. One,you already got yourself droned the first time.Two,your not alone in the fight for it." He said,not looking at him,just rubbing his neck a bit and looking to the side. He didn't want to look at him,not right now at least.

"Jason, please." Ash sounded as if he was desperately clinging to the last shreds of his composure. "Let me go. I cant stay here. Not after..." He shuddered and took a ragged breath. "Not after what I did."
