"No. I don't..." Aiden whispered back.

It was taking all Mury had to not just blow up. She lowered her hand and hugged herself turning her back to Aiden. "What else did you need to tell me?" She asked hoping for a good distraction from her shattered heart.

"There was this man who was targeting you." Aiden finally got to say.

"Who'd be doing that?" Mury asked not moving a mussel.

"Damien." Aiden said.

Mury sucked in her breath. "But why? he had my word I'd come back and work for him..." She said tilting her head to look back at Aiden.

"Did you really think Damien would keep his word?" Aiden said.

Mury bit her lip. "Well, I was more worried about you being okay..." She said honestly. She really hadn't been thinking when she agreed to work for Damien. She felt like it was Aiden's fault for that, If he had just brought her along then she could have done more. "But that doesn't tell me why he'd be after me..."

"I don't know why, but it wasn't good." Aiden murmured to Mury, he scratched the back of his head. "Kenny's taking care of that part..."

Mury was about to say something when there was a knock at her door. "Who is it?" She said not moving. Greg was there and he opened the door. "Mom said I'm supposed to make this guy win ya back." He said walking in. "Here." He said holding out a small bo of chocolates to Aiden. "Oh and Mury's be crying about yelling at you all day. She missed you." He said dodging a pillow that was thrown by Mury. He walked back to the door. "Oh and she's ticklish." He said closing the door right behind him. Mury shook her head walking over to the window sitting down looking outside.
