Kai nods once getting ready to go towards the mountain.


Seaweed nods once, I can do that. How much rope and wood will I need? Also is it okay if the wood is driftwood?

"If we jis needed it fer burnin', driftwood would be fine, but we also need somethin' more strudy fer repairs. The more, the better." Locke responded. "I've got ah few spare boards below deck, but Ah have ah feelin' we'll need more than that."

I'll contact my friends and see if we can get everyone to help out. If I'm not back by tomorrow then assume something happened okay? Without waiting for answer Seaweed sped away leaving a decent sized wake in his leave.
Percy grips the mast, "Where you talking to that creature?"

Locke glaned over and nodded. "That ah problem?" He asked.

"No captain just curious why," Percy answers, "I don't quiet understand how a creature can exist."

Locke shrugged. "Me neither, but he exists." He tilted his head slightly. "Gather the crew in tha mess hall. Ah have an annoumcement ta make."

Percy dashes off to find Scope, Aries, Chapalangi, Marcos, and Nathanial, "In the mess hall please the captain has an annocement."
Nathanial grumbles, "If it has to do with Selkie Waverider or Seaweed I'm out."
Percy glares at the much bigger seaman, "You don't have a choice."
"You're also not the giving orders around here Percy," Nathanial reminds him not very kindly, "And I remember your father saying that one misstep and it's you in the ocean.'
Percy doesn't back down, "I'm aware of that but still as I recall Captain Waverider was a friend of yours and you owe it to him to help."
Marcos walks to the mess hall looking nervous before Nathanial follows.

Locke joined the crew down stairs a few minutes later, making his way to the end of the hall. "'S everyone 'ere? Good. Thanks fer that Percy." He started.

"Now," He continued. "Looks like we're going to have ah slight change o' plans. Ah just recieved word from the North that Selkie ran himself into ah tight situation. His ship's beset, and since his ship ain't an icebreaker, he needs help getting clear of the ice. We'll be heading North to assist in anyway we can. Here's tha plan.

Me an' Drayke will go ahead o' the ship to get things goin', alomg with Aries. Ah've dealt with icy seas, an' Aries' strength will come in handy.

Until the ship reaches the Northern waters, Ah'm leavin' Nathaniel to steer. That said, I don't want this ship anywhere near that ice. Transport form here to Selkie's ship will be taken care of by Drayke. We should have pleanty of food an' such to last until tha ship is freed, but keep rationing anyway.

Once we arrive, I'll need Nathanial, Marcos, and a few others to come with me out onto the ice to help out with freeing Selkie's ship. Chapalangi, Percy, an' the other will stay on this ship, with Scope taking over until this mess is over.

Now, any questions?"

Nathanial frowns, "Yes Captain but may I make one suggestion? I used to live in the northern lands in fact I was born there and know ways of getting a ship out of the ice as well as the dangers below the ice. We'll need my kin though to succeed otherwise the ship will be stuck there until is destroyed. My family live below the ice in underwater caves an can break the ice with their skulls, I've done it more then I care to admit. Even though Aries is quiet strong without a certain bit of help you'll just be chipping at the ice until you freeze."

Aries scoffed a bit at that last bit, but Locke smiled, returning with a firm nod of affirmative. "Iffin yer folks agree to it, that'll be just perfect. We'll need all tha help we can get." He confirmed.
