Zeth*

The door was kicked to the floor in an instant. Zeth ran in, looking around the room for any threats, and hoping to find Scias. She shot down one of the people in a white coat, but didn't know about the other. Her eyes shot open after she fired, searching the room desperately for the missing Darrazi.

(how cruel do i want to be.. hmm.)

Sereya
Sereya nailed the other one as he rose his gun, breathing a sigh of relief as the room was clear.

(Oh god... Btw, Z and 34 have made it illegal to kill Scias and or Zeth... I told them they were sucking all the fun outta this. I had been planning to kill off Zeth for a while now XD)


Zeth*

"Rey, I don't see him. Tell me I'm overlooking...maybe we are in the wrong room?" Zeth seemed more confused then upset. She was sure that he would be in here...he had to be in here. "Scias, say something." she whispered as she continued to warily eye the rest of the room. From the substance on the floor, it was safe to bet that he had been here at some point if he wasn't here now.

(Not killing Scias is illegal. smh..
Fine, kinda want them both alive anyways. Said nothing about near mortal wounding he'd have to regenerate from, so I can work with that. :^))

Scias
If he heard her, he sure didn't respond. Suspended in a small glass tank wired with an electric lamp over the bottom, there seemed to be a certain red core, suspended in a compacted black mass among smaller red orbs, trying to keep itself protected from the arcing current. The core seemed to flicker white at Zeth as she stepped past, nudging at the top of the tank with one of its dripping pseudopodia.

Sereya
Sereya noticed this and had to avert her eyes. The thought of being tortured into nearly disintegrating apart repeatedly made her stick to her metaphorical stomach.
"Z-Zethie.. The tank. Pull the power on it." She whimpered through interlocked fingers, trying to compose herself.

Zeth*

Looking up and seeing the glowing orb, she nodded and ran to get the power. She hadn't a clue what it meant or why it was there, but it reminded her of X's core...was that Scias' core?

Just like that she felt her heart drop. Seeing Rey's expression wasn't helping much either. Regardless of emotion, she pulled the power. "You promised you wouldn't get yourself killed...****ing idiot...****ing lying idiot," Zeth whispered, barely able to speak. The blizzard of emotion only made her heart feel colder. The second time...the second time someone...important in her life died because of her reckless self.

Yet again.it was moving...so maybe, just maybe, there was a chance.

Scias
With the power removed from the tank, the mass relaxed some and knocked off the top of the tank with some considerable amount of effort before pulling itself out onto the counter and shaking itself off.
It seemed to observe Zeth for a minute with a flickering light through its core before emitting a low mental frequency to her. His voice was weak and frustrated, but he was clearly alive.
'Y..You're t-the.. ****ing idiot.'

Sereya
She breathed an audible sigh of relief on seeing him move, but him now being disarmed, formless, and weak had its own set of problems. One of them would probably have to carry him.. Ugh..

Zeth*

Zeth sighed and slowly sank to her knees, just peering over the counter that Scias had plopped onto. "Ohhhh god I hate you too," she laughed. "Rey, mission accomplished. We need to go. But... how exactly do we carry this?" The tips of her fingers lightly poked at what was currently left of Scias. "The jar maybe?"

Scias
He sparkled lightly, but whether it was out of irritation or an instinctive reaction, it was hard to tell.
He still didn't seem very dead set on talking.

Sereya
"Well, normally I'd say he can hold himself together just fine like that.. But kinda looks like he's in and out of it still. Better not take any chances.unless you really want to lose him." She folded her arms, glancing back briefly to look at the doorway.
"The jar'll work. He probably won't be happy about it, but he can eat **** for all I care."

Zeth*

"Okay great." Zeth fiddled with the jar, trying to get it down. She was a little short for this kind of thing. After a few hops, she was able to get the jar down. She held the jar near the counter for Scias to slip in.

"Alright, get in goop." Zethy teased half heartedly, smiling just a bit. She was still very worried for him, and quiet frankly, pissed as well. "I'm pretty sure there will be guards here within the minute. Let's go ahead and take our leave."

Scias
If he had the strength to even form hands right now, he'd be flipping her off.
But he resigned himself to using his limited energy to scramble into the jar, nearly tipping it over in the process.

Sereya
"Better believe it too. Look alive."
She fired a shot through the doorway, nailing one of the soldiers that had responded to the previous shots through the head.
"There's a few more moving down the hallway, better start hightailing it, Zethie. I got your back."
