"Oh come on again... Whay do these feathers even do?" I huff and put my hand out.

Chansei cromches down hard on the feather, splitting the hard quill. The soft feather dissolves into shimmering powder and settles in your hand, light as air.

I study it carefully and look at the bird "im sorry.
. Im in pain and cant think clearly what the hell am I to do with this?" I asked raising my eye brow "greeat... Im talking to a mythical bird that just made magic dust land in my palm" I grumble.

"Sorry, pain," the bird chatters. It points its beak at the dust, then your face.

"Why... Are you sayin sorry?" I ask looking at the bird "and why are you pointing at my face...?" I ask "why am I such an idiot...?" I grumble sadly.

"Chansei wants you to eat it, mortal," Sibnele grumbles, still holding squirming Luca down with one arm. "Geez, kid. Calm down so I can take your soul already."

Chansei nods enthusiastically. "Eat."

I make an 'o' with my mouth and sigh "well... Uh... Okay..." I grumble, I put it to my mouth and eat it.

The taste is indescribably sweet, like eating powdered light. You feel energized, and some of the lighter bruises on you fade, along with most of the pain.

Chansei tweets happily.

I sigh and smile slightly and I slowly get up and look at the bird "thanks..." I say smiling.

The bird bobs its head, happy you feel better.

Sibnele snaps his fingers, and some shadowy tendrils lash around Luca, ensuring that she stays firm. "Ughhhhhhh, I hate this," he mutters to himself, laying on the dead grass.
