" Do you think I have a halo? " Alister asked at the mention of them, " I've never really checked or anything, but I would assume I do have one.. So could I be killed by that or would it just hurt me badly? "

"You don't have a halo, or else I would've killed you a long, long time ago. And since you're half-human, then yes, you would be hurt badly, and it could possibly kill you. You have to remember that I'm learning. I've never seen a half-angel before."

" I know, I just find all of it interesting.. how different I can be and how different I don't seem. I mean I am not great at anything- Not super smart or super strong at all.. So, that begs the question what things does an angel have, and what have I inherited of it? "

"You have the wings," she pointed out. "You have basically the same aura. Angels have a silver lining on theirs, and yours has veins of silver."

" I see.. Well I know about the wings, but I wonder if I can fly.. but I don't want to test that. I might just crash into something or lose my balance. "

"There's only one way to find out," she said, shrugging. "Besides, better now than later when they find us," she muttered

" You aren't suggesting I actually try flying... are you..? " He asked, seemingly very nervous at the thought of flying.

"Well, all I'm saying if you're gonna try it had better be sooner rather than later. They might know about this place but it won't be long before they find out. Besides, by the time they find us, you could be an expert at flying, yeah?"

" The overwhelming amount of jokes I could make about flying is incredibly worrying.. " He said playfully.
