Night nods once before quickly taking the slice, "Thank you."

"Anytime." Collin responded, taking another bite of his own slice. He sure is going at it. I wonder...
"...Can I ask you something?"

Night looks at Collin, "I suppose. On one condition though I get to take the left overs with me."

"Assuming you don't eat it all first, by all means!" Collin joked, though his expression changed to a more serious one. "I know it isn't my bussiness, but where exactly do you go? When you aren't.... working, I mean."

Night responds coldly wrapping up the rest of his slice and grabbing a few more to wrap up, "You're right it isn't your bussiness. If you need me though just call my name and I'll be there if I can you have my word."

(If you really want to find out more about Night we're gonna need some help from Kaladin or at least a character that would be close to Douglas.)

Collin folded his ears back in a mixture of alarm, confusion, and concern. "Er... Alright. I'll be seeing you, then." He said, voice lowered softly.

Night huffs storming out of there.
Starlight places her hand on Collin's and speaks quietly, "He's probally protecting not only himself when he's working also he's made enemies. These walls have ears as well no matter what we do they will listen so it makes sense why he doesn't want anyone else to know where he lives. That or he's protecting someone else."


(Okay then how hard would it be to convince Collin to go to Douglas's and end up spending the night in the house?)

(Not that hard. He'd just need a reason to go.)

"Hm." Collin gave a short nod. "It doesn't help my suspicions, though. You said you caught him in the kitchen, and you noticed how fast he was eating just now. That's a bit... concerning, don't you think?" He shook his head. "I'll leave him be, though. Try later maybe."

"You're thinking he was starving," Starlight asks, "I might have a way to find out now. It's a bit underhanded but I know he has the skills to intrude in Night's home if something where to happen. If by some chance Night becomes wounded he might turn to Douglas Blakesley because of his knowalge of medicine being even more then a castle's doctor. That he's easily accessible because he lives in the village. Maybe you could go talk to him when you feel ready."

Collin scratched at his ear. "You think so?"
