he chose to ignore that and hoped he woulnt get stabbed. it likely wouldnt kill him, but it would hurt a LOT.

Yeah. If he got thrown onto or grabbed by these thorns, it would... not be pleasant. It'd be like being stabbed 200 times at once.

So staying on the guards' good side is probably a good idea. Considering the guards have already made it clear they dislike arials.

Staring up at him with big, lavender eyes is a young basilisk. She's 5, maybe 6 years old, but her eye-sigils are more intricate than any adult basilisk he's seen.
(Maybe I've told you already but probably not- a good way to gauge a fey's power is by looking at the patterns around their eyes. They naturally have patterns there, and the more detailed they are the stronger the fey)
