Jason looked Puck straight in the eyes,understanding. "I know. I'm not saying we shouldn't or can't. I don't fully agree,I'll admit that,but I do agree that we don't have a choice in this matter. He's not himself anymore,and I don't think there's a chance for him to be himself again with what time he has left. I won't like it,but I'll help.Even if that means I'll ram my stinger straight to his heart at some point." His voice struggled but he seemed serious and honest. And he was.Completely.

Puck put his arms around Jason and pulled him close, gently so as to not jolt his wounded arm. "What do want me to do, Jason?" Puck whispered into his hair.

"Just do what you have to and I'll help,no matter what that means.I'm on your side 100%,no matter who it is I might have to kill." He replied softly,tenderly hugging back. He carefully cuddled into Puck a bit,thankful to have him there,for once having someone he could confide in and rely on to be there through thick and thin and not shove him away when the going gets tough.

He nodded. "I'll try very hard not to kill his royal iciness if we meet again. Believe it or not, Drago, I don't want Ash dead, any more than you do." He sniffed. "Well, maybe a little more than you. But..." And he pulled back to look Jason in the eye. "If he puts you in danger, I won't hold back. Thats my promise. I won't risk losing you, either, understand?"

Jason nodded. "I understand. And if I have to,I won't hold back for the sake of you. I don't care how battered I get,once this is over I'll still be able to drag myself back to Foreskel to get fixed up best as possible." He gently stroked Puck's cheek with a slightly shaking hand,eyes understanding,fond,and willing.

Pucks arms tightened around Jason.

"Jason." Kimis voice cut across the room, clipped, flat and mechanical. Kimi and Nelson stood beside the door like soldiers at attention, a posture so strange for both of them. As one, their heads turned, and they gave Jason an empty stare. The same look Ash had turned on him back in SciCorp.

Jason noticed the look and his heart almost stopped as he held tighter to Puck. "Please tell me I'm insane." He whispered shakily.

"No," he whispered back.

"Our Mistress has a message for you, Jason Skytracer." Kimi took a short step forward, moving like a robot. "'Congratulations for breaking into SciCorp and, more impressive, breaking out again. You have my admiration. Unfortunately, I cannot have you running amok, making plans to return for the scepter, as I know you will. Ill be moving it tonight to a safer location. If you come back to SciCorp, Im afraid youll find it quite empty. Oh, and by the way, Im also sending Ash to kill your family. Theyre in Louisiana, right?'"

Jason's face paled,the maroon of pain mixed with white and sick green. "I don't have a family,I'm a foster kid." He growled,though it wavered. He realized he had put the Jarned's in danger,both the two kids and Linda with her boyfriend. He didn't fear to much for them at heart,but still felt bad even though they actually lived so close to Silicon Valley,so Louisiana was sorta an off shot. He was glad Lila didn't live to close to his former foster set up,and that hopefully she wouldn't be put in danger,too.

"'One more thing!'" she added. Robot Kimi gave Jason an empty smile. "'I want you to remember, this is not a game, Jason Skytracer. If you think you can waltz into my lair and try to take what is mine without repercussions, youd best think again. People will get hurt because of you.'" Kimi stepped forward and narrowed her eyes. "'Do not screw with me, child. Let this be a little reminder of what can happen when you play with the big kids.'"

Kimi spasmed, spine arching back, mouth open in a silent scream as she twitched and thrashed. A moment later, Nelson did the same, limbs jerking wildly, before they both collapsed to the floor.
