The two sisters talk happily. The other guards keep a wary eye on the two non-winters.

Now that they've got a moment to look, they have a chance to see some of the intricacies of the strange brown armor. It's thorny, likely why Kira called her sister a thornguard, and the thorns on each armor piece are slightly different. There's little buds dotted across the armor, though they look to be wilted. There's vines of some sort on the underside of the armor, probably to attach to the skin. The thorns also move- they always point towards the nearest living thing.

Many of the thorns are bloodstained. It's hard to tell because the thorns' color is so similar to that of dried blood, but it's there. A lot of the blood is pink in color- the color of arial blood.
