"I think Abyss thinks different," She teased as she watched the pair, glad they where too distracted to look for Latte, he was safe for awhile longer.

Abyss's face turned scarlet, a sharp contrast from his normal black color. "Do not!"

Jasper eyed Abyss with a raised eye brow.

"Don't look at me like that." Abyss huffed, pushing a hand in Jaspers face.

Jasper sighed, entwining his fingers with Abyss's.

Abyss was surprised, starting to breath rapidly.

Jasper chuckled. "What is up with you right now?"

Chikatu watched in silence, smiling to herself. She thought it was sweet, it made her think of Latte. She blushed a bit, missing Latte already, at least he was safe.
"Please don't start making out in front of me, I'm not in any mood to see that," She said even though she was kinda hoping they would kiss.

Jasper shook his head. "Won't." He said, then leaned over and gave Abyss a kiss to the cheek.

Abyss yelped in surprise, then sighed happily as she melted into a pile of mush. Quite literally.

Jasper chuckled.

Chikatu laughed, then remembered what they had done and went silent. She stood up, hobbling around as she tried to find a way to escape.

Abyss whimpered shyly, slowly forming back into himself.

Jasper watched Chikatu, then whispered to Abyss. "What if we let her go, then maybe we can follow her to where she sent Latte."

Abyss nodded, then whispered back. "That's what people do in books."

Jasper smiled. "I'm glad you enjoy those."

Abyss nodded. "Yeah, they are full of weird magical history! Though, most of it is incorrect by what I've seen."

"That's called fiction, Abyss."

"Oooohhhh, that makes sense."

Chikatu finally gave up, sitting on the floor. She growled in frustration, laying on her back.
"No stars here, no destiny. What if you where destined to die, like the dragonfly," She hummed to herself.
Her tail lashed angrily, she hoped Latte would be okay. She wouldn't be able to visit him for awhile from the looks of it.

Jasper looked at Chikatu. "Abyss, open a door."

Abyss nodded. He went over to the opposite wall and put his hands on it, pushing it as black melted against it. The white melted under black, a door forming. " Here we go."

Chikatu looked up, honestly a little confused. She didn't know what they where planning, but she didn't trust them. She watched them, wondering if they where going to leave her here.

"Ta da!" Abyss said, doing jazz hands.

Jasper smiled and motioned Chikatu to the door. "You did ask to be let out, yes?"
