Asher stays beside Hakira, even if she was slower. He didn't want to leave her behind. Asher uses his magic to form an ice spear, using that to cut down the zombies in their way.

She does her best to keep up with them and not slow them down.

"How big is the usual zombie pack?" Asher asks Jordyn, who shrugs.
"I mean, this pack has probably been around for a while. Wonder why they want us to slow down. At least we aren't zombies yet. Or dead." Jordyn says, counting her blessings.

Hakira is sparking a lot more than usual. She looks like she's already starting to tire.

Asher keeps his distance, not wanting to get sparked, but still stays by her side. If she tires out completely soon, it seems the zombies will overpower them all.
Who knows what fate will give them then?

she's trying her hardest to not faint while still run. It's not an easy feat, especially when raiju naturally faint when they get tired.

Asher scoops Hakira into his arms, not caring if he got shocked. Now, Hakira can faint and not have to get caught by the zombies. Asher flaps his wings, straining to get off the ground, where the zombies were swarming.
A zombie jumped at him, but Jordyn gives the zombie a sound round-house kick to its jaw. Asher manages to take to the sky, and Jordyn follows suit.

Turns out the reason Haki can't run fast is because she weighs over 200 pounds. Hopefully Asher can carry a 200-pound woman and still fly.

I guess he can, it's just really hard and he can't fly as high as he usually can. No wonder Hakira can't run too fast.
Jordyn notices the end of the zombie parade. "Let's rest on the wall for a little bit." She suggests, touching down on the top of the wall.

The ceiling was high above them. The walls didn't reach the ceiling. There was a rumble, and a billow of dust from one side of the Labyrinth.
And that was why the walls didn't touch the ceiling. To allow for free-er movement when shifting and blocking or opening up ways.

Hakira has passed out. It almost seems to make her heavier.
