(yeah, it's just been a long week, and i've been sick)

Pixie looks at you with a strange look in her eyes. "You know, no one can really keep us from leaving camp."

The deer dips its head in confirmation and quietly walks behind Luca. Where its feet touch, the yellow grass perks up and turns green.

Haran hesitantly hovers his hand over the deer's neck, wanting to pet it. He eventually just plops his hand down, the deer not seeming to mind. He smiles at you. "Soft, huh. Do you think this is the. . .Devil?"

"no its to you know normal, devils have to be guarded in some form their powerful this creature is soft and tender not something to fear in facted." she looked the deer up and down "maybe i could ride it?" she said partly asking the deer if she could it would have sure made the trip faster.

The deer kneels down. There's more than enough room for both of you to fit comfortably.

"come one squirt." she said gently getting on.

Haran slides onto its back behind Luca. "IT'S SO SOOOOOOFT!" he mouths.

The deer stands back up, not even struggling with the weight of two people. You feel a rush of warmth spread through you, rejuvenating.

"i wonder why the elders never talked about these creatures." she asked smiling

"Maybe they didn't know about them?"

Suddenly, you feel an icy rush below you. The deer slows down, and then stops. It looks like it's struggling to move.

"you ok fawn?" she asked already naming the deer she rubs its neck looking at the ground below it.

You can see black, shadowy tendrils wrapping solidly around its legs. The green grass is starting to wither back to its previous state. There seems to be an even bigger shadow in front of you three.
