The shoosh-pap is a comfort method, it's a thing from I comic called Homestuck, it's great.

Yes, they are! The Homestuck timeline is weird so the rolls from Homestuck are older than the trolls in Hiveswap and the kids from Homestuck are younger than the kids in Hiveswap. I love both of them and I suggest, also I'll give you the link to the Homestuck comic, t is a little slow at first, but after a while it gets great.
