About five or six people bowed to tymitha as she walked around Haven was the last one. "Hello tymitha, I trust you rested well?" she asked as the tables began to fill with food. Anything you could imagine was there. Every now and again, a small dragon and or small abit would fly by

more mythical creatures were in that room than seemed in all the land.
This ran up to Haven and she hugged it tight. "JOTTO!" she yelled happily "Ek het jou my vriend gemis! Hoe gaan dit? Hoe is Julio en Josephine?" she asked and the creature shrugged, as if it....understood her....

Tymitha looked at the strange wolf, wondering where the wolf came from.
"I don't know, how did you build all of this?" Tymitha asked.

She pet the fox creature that they called a troeteldier and told it to go. "It was built over several years. Most of the plant like creations were done by nymphs and the carvings by elves. The crystal you saw colors and makes it glow. Without it, all of this would be gray and black." she answered, gesturing to the illuminated flowers above them.

"Why would elves help build this? Most of the elves I met are only concerned about themselves." Tymitha asked. Tymitha was amazed by the buildings, but she knew from experience that beautiful things usually had the most to hide.

"True, but many many hundreds of years ago, the elves were ruled by a kind leader who agreed to help us. They helped build us a sanctuary, a safe haven if you will. We have all hie here ever since." Around the room, many people were talking happily. Children ran freely and animals chased them playfully. It was like an untouched heaven.

"Is it really under the ocean, or is it through a portal or something like that?" Tymitha looked around. "Are all of these people shifters?" she asked.

"It is like a portal, it is more like a door. It teleports you beneath the floor of the ocean, but there is no tube or anything in which a normal person could go through. And also you, all of us are shifters. The portal only activates for shifters. You would have been flattened had you done the dive and been anything but a shifter. " a little girl poked Tymitha's dragon and spoke in a forein language. "Hallo daar. Is jy 'n draak?"

"How did the elves get down here then? Are there elven shifters? I thought only humans could shift." Tymitha asked, trying to get as much information out of Haven. I don't want to seem rude, but she can't expect me to just be an understudy, right?, she thought.

"We shifters created the portal after they built it. It was a few decades ago when the incident happened... Your grandfather was killed by an elf. We killed every one of them who was in on it. The number summed up to be around 25. You were in a crib when it happened. Your mother left you to find your father, planning to come back. When she did, an elf had you in his arms, carrying you out the window. You see, I am about 23 years older than you, as shifters tend to stop aging at age 20, so I look 18ish. I was there. I had a bow that i used to shoot him. He fell, dropping you into the arms of another elf who was ready to catch you. He disappeared into the shadows with you, never to be seen again.I spent years looking for you. I tried every corner of the world till I myself was captured. The man we met caught me and turned m into a slave as he has for many of us. Few escape..."

(That's fine, I kinda just made up the name and, yeah. I didn't make anything concrete about my character.)

Tymitha stared at Haven for a few moments, trying to figure out if she was making this up.
"...And you didn't tell me about this on the boat? Or before we even got on the boat?"
