Gale led her over to a small sandy circle at the edge of camp. Some kids were wrestling on it and she cleared her throat. They froze, and quickly left the pit.
"So this is where we fight? Eh, not too challenging." Bell teased.

"Let's see if you have some bite with that bark." Gale smirked, then took her stand on the sand, shoes off. Bell copied her, pulling her hair up into a ponytail as she walked.
Gale moved first, darting forward, but Bell ducked and came up behind her. Gale laughed a bit and they faced each other again.
"You're fast."
"Yeah. I know." Bell laughed too. "But I do have some bite apparently, huh?"
"Sure. We'll see." Gale leaped again, kicking and managing to barely touch Bell.
Bell winced slightly but caught her leg and flipped her right after, pinning her to the ground. "I win. Ha." That wasn't so hard but I can tell she was going easy on me. And that's why you never underestimate the enemy.
