She said sheepishly, as she turned and showed him her fore arms. She had forgotten that the carved in writing was there.

"I um..." Should he really help her? She did just save him but at the same time she was just being an******the entire time. Still if he helped her now she wouldn't come looking for a favor later. "Sure..." Adam answered setting his pack on the ground before pulling out a bit of shredded cloth he used for his face and other injured areas. "Here, now we are even."

She tied them with one hand and her teeth, pulling at the straps.
Question, do you want a lift to the city? You might get caught in another trap...
She asked.

"I can do fine on my own." Adam said turning to leave. He didn't want company, he didn't better off alone. If you didn't keep anyone close then there was no one around to get hurt. He had learned that all too well when he had gotten hurt.

K, I have some ******es to burn.
She said lightly, as she turned and got a running start. Mid run, she transformed into a large dragon, and stretched out her wings. They gleamed. Crystal braced herself and shot a stream of blue fire onto the pile of corpses. She turned, roared into the air, shot into the sky, and headed back towards the city, barely skimming the tops of the trees.

"Show off..." Adam hissed shouldering his pack. "I hate brats like that, think they are all cool just because they can spit fire. Oh look at me! I don't have any parents, I'm a total badass with depressive thoughts. Make me mad that some people throw away their lives in such ways." After that he fell silent, moving towards the city still. He had no desire to go fully into the city, he just wanted to be able to find a bit of food and some clean drinking water.

She landed safely at the entrance to the city. Crystal felt dizzy, when she transformed back into a human. She stumbled, and fell against a wall. A shadow figure materialized infront of her.

She said indignantly.
She grew a punch at him that landed him square in the jaw. He reeled back, and kicked at her face, but she blocked it and threw him off balance with it. He landed easily.

"Must be my lucky day, there's a few houses right out here before town!" Adam said. After searching each he found a new blanket, a few unlabeled cans of food and a half of a jug of clean water. "Nice haul if I had to say so myself. Now just to get it home."

The demon and Crystal got into a loud fist fight,where Crystal mostly said

The sounds carried for several blocks.

The sound was more like gun shots than anything. "Survivors? Well I wish them luck." Adam said simply before turning back and heading towards his home. The air felt strange today.
