"Yes, like Hopecrusher." he said glaring in the direction you heard something leaving.
"But also others. It is a long story, and it goes back many years, centuries even. Although dragons might be the worst, there are still many other creatures nearly as bad. And perhaps some unknown ones more terrible."
Featherdust, tries to stand up, but then realizing it would be a bad decision, lays down again.
"I was being careless around Hopecrusher. He caught me by surprise, and then i underestimated him. Next time it will be different."

"Haha, you really are cute." She chuckled, tapping it on the nose. "We should get going, maybe head north?"

"Hey! Calm down! You're going to upset your wounds!" I scold, picking up the real nogar.

It doesn't look any different than regular moss, but then you notice something odd. As a butterfly lands on it, the moss seems to glow brighter. The butterfly disappears in a ball of light, and so does them moss. Then, it fades away, and everything is back to normal. Except the moss is no longer glowing, and there is a second butterfly, identical to the first, that is.

The first Nogar you found suddenly jumps out of nowhere, and chomps it's muzzle down on the butterfly. Before you can do anything, it glows bright, they both disappear, and then suddenly there are 2 grass Nogars! It instantly begins snapping angrily at the confused hatchling, and growling at it. It doesn't seem to notice you yet. That makes sense, because moss doesn't have eyes, and the butterfly was instantly snapped up. Now it's angry, and not observant.

"And fire doesn't work. It's heatproof. I tried"

It goes limp as you pick it up, and grins sheepishly at your scolding. The second, fake Nogar, is looking at you horrified. Your Nogar squeaks something to it, although it doesn't seem to have any effect on it's attitude. Suddenly it runs up and touches you. Moments later, an exact replica of you is standing in front of your face.

"What are you doing here? And what have you done to that Nogar?" she snaps angrily at you. Or is it you snap angrily at yourself? It's odd looking at yourself like this, that's for sure.

"Sure. But don't try any tricks. I've had enough of those."
You step forward. It appears they don't have a lock, but there is a odd symbol on the clasp around it's ankle. It seems familiar. Then you remember. It's Dragon trapper symbol. Although they are called Dragon trappers, they almost always trap Nogars as well. They say there is hardly a difference between the two, and the Nogars have only tricked humans into siding with them. Of course they, and everyone else, knows that is rubbish. But people prefer Nogar pets to dragons, as they are often cuter and less agresive. Most likely they were going to sell this Nogar to Dragon fights, or as a dumb pet for rich people. Always chained up, and put on display.
There are only a few ways to get dragon trapper chains off.
1. Own a magical fairy key, the tip shaped to fit exactly on the mark. The dragon trappers undoubtedly have one, but good luck finding them and convincing hem to let you have it.
2. A rare magic mud, used for skin armor. Plaster it to your body and it hardens into an invincible shell. It also dissolves other magic items quite nicely however, so make sure you don't wear other magic equipment with it.
3. A runestone. These are the doors to other worlds. You don't now how, but it has always been something you knew. It is one of the few memories you have before you awoke in the middle of no were, lost.
Although there is one of each rune, each one irreplaceable, you won't have a lot of trouble finding one. It is rumored that a long ago hero placed them around the worlds, hidden, but no one knows why. (Another memory)
There are supposedly 5 in each world. Sometimes more.
