"And hope we don't get killed," Mathias said, swallowing hard.

"Me too." Amy said.

"Ok," Mathias said, standing up.

Amy looks at the humans.

Two of the humans noticed Mathias and Amy. The first reached for his gun, but the second put a hand on the first's shoulder, a clear 'no'. Mathias relaxed, and they just stood there for a bit, looking at eachother.

Amy hid behind Mathias scared of the humans.

The humans then spoke in a low murmur, trying to hide their conversation. But they couldn't do that successfully, so Mathias heard the whole thing.
"The Inhabitants?"
"I think so. They fit the description perfectly,"
"So...?"
"They don't look hostile,"
"One's carrying a spear!"
"Skyler, if they were going to attack, they would've done something by now,"
"I guess you're right,"
"Of course I'm right,"
"Well the red one looks like he's about to eat your soul, so you should probably say something before things get awkward,"

"Mathias I don't like the look of these humans one bit." Amy whispered quietly as she hid behind him.

"I don't either," Mathias said through his fangs.

"I'm gonna do it," the human said. He took a few steps forward.

Mathias prepared himself, grip on his spear tightening.

Amy then stood up and pulled Mathias's spear out of his hands. "Back away or I will drive this spear into your leg!" Amy growled holding the spear firmly.
