"uh. Are you okay?" Jackie looked up.

"Yeah," she said as she tore off some of her shirt to put around the cut, then she continued going down.

The hole was dark and dusty. "Got a flashlight?" Jackie asked as she pulled out hers, slowly trying to navigate through the sewers. "I wonder what's in here........"

She rummaged in her backpack but when she brought the flashlight it dropped to the far sewer below.

"Oh." Jackie turned around. "What do we do now?"

She shrugged,"We use yours."

Jackie continued through the silent, dark tunnel. "What's that?" Jackie squinted through the darkness. She saw a weird structure that looked like it wasn't supposed to be there. "There's a door." She touched its cool metal. It wasn't dusty. "Someone's been here."

"It definitely looks that way," she answered.

"Well..." the door opened smoothly. "Only one way to find out."
As she entered, she expected mutants, spiders, deadly weapons-
-but she found something much stranger.
Electricity.
The light was actually clean and bright. A fan was set off to the side in the round shelter, and a ventilation shaft was above her.
It was obvious to Jackie.
They had found a bunker.

"Wow, I guess we found a base," she said as she stepped in and scanned the area.
