800 diamonds in pure diamonds is correct. The Sylestian Engineer's Outfit was an incredibly difficult and finicky item to get during the Fall 2015 Haunted Mansion event. I'll be the first to admit that it is a lot for an avatar item, but it's certainly an item that is fairly sought after.
