Violet nodded and left the room.

Seth was happy that he master let them join so easily. He smiled at Yatahammal.

"So you're gonna let them join just like that!?" Exclaimed Gabriel.

Altar sighed and turned back to them. "I have all the proof I need. The one, Yatahammal, can preform a Leap of Faith where most of the assassins here have been trained too and still can't. And This one wields a hidden blade, one that can only belong to Malik. What more do I need? With the Templars growing stronger we can use every assassin we can get." He turned back to his window. "And I trust that if they go to betray us then you all will put and end to them."

Alhena follows. "Something seems wrong with Altar, he just agreed to let Yatahammal and Saqr join the Brotherhood like it was nothing. I wonder what's on his mind. Do you think he is thinking of Maria and Sef again?"

"With a second thought sir, we will end them to protect the brotherhood." Violet said.

"Perhaps, it was definitely weird."

"Then go and wait for the others." Altar said before leaving.

Shadir let out his breath. "That went better then expected." He huffed. "Let's go met the girls and get you guys into your new cloaks. If you manage to get through the ranks then..." He stopped for a moment. "Master!" He called after Altar whom returned. "What if their hidden blades? Do we need to remove their fingers?"

"No, we shall wait until you return the next time." Altar said leaving yet again.

Yatahammal swallowed hard. "Remove our fingers?"

Alhena sighed. "I hate too see him so sick." She said genuinely sad for once. "I mean he is really old, what if he dies before we return with the apple? Will Darim know what to do with the apples?"

"I hope to doesn't have to come to that ," she said, her voice full of sorrow. The creed had raised her, taken her in when no one else would. And Altair had been like a farther, over looking her misbehaviour and transgressions.

Seth grimaced and he and Gabriel displayed their missing ring fingers.
"It shows our devotion and loyal to the creed."

"Plus it makes your blade work," added gabe.

"As do I." Alhena said opening the door to the store room. "But let's not think anymore on that grim subject, there's been enough of that for one day." She said picking up a folded cloak.

Shadir too showed his left hand and the finger he was missing. "It's a small price to pay to join the creed." He added. "All in all it is worth it."

Yatahammal stopped in his tracks suddenly afraid of what was to come. "Do you have to? I mean is there not another way?"

Saqr looked at his own hand. "That would be why the blade has never worked properly." He said looking at his own hidden blade.

Violet nodded and followed suit.

Seth grimaced, "I'm afraid not."

"That's it," Gabriel said

Alhena waited out at the front of the castle. "Violet do you really think we will be able to find the piece? I mean you saw the Templar right? Do you think we really stand a chance against him?"

Yatahammal looked at the ground. "I was afraid you would say that..." He sighed rubbing his ring finger. "Did it hurt?" He stupidly asked.

Shadir rolled his eyes. "Of course, but it goes away quickly I promise."

"Honestly I don't think we stand a chance but we have to try," she said.

"I can't really remember, I was young." He said.
"I kinda miss my finger," Gabriel said. She was the youngest of the group.

"I'm glade I'm not the only one." Alhena sighed. "It's just not right sending us, why not the higher ups? I mean some of us are Novies! Hell in a Novice at heart still!" She was starting to get flustered, this she clenched her fist in anger.

Yatahammal took a breath. "It doesn't matter now, all that does is getting into those cool cloaks!" He said trying to think of something happy. "Oh I can't wait!"

Shadir wrapped an arm around Gabriel. "Oh sweaty it's alright, you'll learn to forget." He said hugging her a bit. "Come on then let's get back to Alhena and Violet."
