Aw, don't say that, everyone has a future, everyone can make a difference, just keep positive and motivated, or find a motivation if ya have to :D Then you can start from the basics, like going back to uni if ya feel that's what ya wanna do. Just keep trying and never ever give up! You'll be fine, there are so many good things in life i'm sure you'll find a bit of luck one way or another. Though, i gotta say, so jealous that you can sleep in XD i don't get enough sleep most of the time, they're right when they say sleep is important. You feel better when you're rested, your body works better... you brain works better XD Plus, your skin looks better too :D When i have those times when i don't sleep for like 2 nights in a row, my face has this dark ugly hue across it, ugh. Also puts you in a better mood :P

Yeah, compromise is definitely often necessary. But hey, compromising for someone i love and care about is fine with me :3 of course... doesn't always feel like that at the time XD

yeah, those temperatures are kinda like ours too... in different months of course, i'm in the southern hemisphere. But we're not humid, we're arid actually. Australia is mostly desert. The sun is very warm so it burns easily.. i'm just lucky i don't burn, i just turn really dark... seriously, i can be pretty brown XP We rarely get humidity, it's not really thaat humid when we do get it... just gets a bit sticky and gross but not too bad. But yeah, if it's like that for you guys... think i'd choose air con over birdies too XDDD

yeah.. i do that sometimes too with the ref, i often use 2 or 3 refs actually from different angles, in different lighting, etc. hm, the pixel idea is good. I'll do that next time :D

Well, 'sleep' is relative. Got some nasty insomnia, and it affects me even during the day...i just have the TIME. Till small children awaken and i have to occupy them...been having a lot of nightmares lately too, since i'm having comfort issues on my side and when i sleep on my back i get nightmares for who knows what reason...

Ugh, i walk outside, and as soon as the air hits my face i'm already wet like i'm sweating. It's so thick, too, the air. Dunno how people come to Disney and the like during such a miserable time of year...

Yeah, your eyes can see the color you're aiming for, then you have the actual color you can scribble around! Oh, forgot to add about the hex stuff in my last reply; i sorta understand hex codes, but what i really meant was Gimp loads the six letter code in the eyedropper tool! Right where it says HTML Notation(mine says something like Web Color). Dunno if photoshop has that, i know Sai doesn't. Ah, it appears PS has it, bottom left on the color picker, the box next to the # symbol?

If you wanna hear about tweaking, i spend like a week, if not longer, tweaking Animal Crossing designs. I should probably have a wip tag, because god some of those took months. Same process, i'll save the design and try and try again. The difference is, i'm more or less freehand pixeling, have a limited palette, and need to align things to the right shape on the body. But i am SUCH a perfectionist OTL

Ugh, me too. After like, the Bulbori, i don't quite like mine as much. Then again, the more i look at them, the less i like 'em, so. People seem to like your Kelpari, too. You got some good colors on that one, it's probably the best of all the pastel/bright ones! I say that 'cause there's a lot of 'em, and there's a lot of good dark ones, too. That'll be a hard choice for Fai! But if she's looking for light ones, i think yours HAS to be chosen!

Ugh, me too. I might just keep using my friend to test stuff for me, just use my 500d for a new stable and tabs...gonna need it for the Megazone, so i might as well, y'know? Then i can focus on tabs and pets for awhile. Just spent 120 on a custom though, so i need to earn that back again, heh.

Shockingly, my real trick lies in exfoliating daily. They say it's bad to do it so often, but my skin gets rough if i miss even one day...i ran out a week ago, sigh.

I forgot most of the day, then i was like...well i need to do at least a few, oh god! I actually just redid the allocation of traits on a few, like the male Bulb, looks better now. Forgot to fix the tummy on my Aeri, but people seem to like it anyway, soooo... Yeah the Ryori didn't have a lot of palette variety, but they had a lot of different combos, some used all pale colors and just the reddish pink ghosty aura, others made 'em more vivid...

You have plenty of chance, as much as anyone! I mean for all we know, three of yours might be chosen and none of mine! It all depends on what Fai and Krin like best, and if they were aiming for certain colors/shades.

I hear the test kit goes for 1k during festivals, so i'm holding out for that. Might get a loan, i dunno, or nab a few extra hundred diamonds during a sale. Gonna try saving up for all 8 tabs in my stables, but might settle for 6 for now. I keep doubling up on species, it's killing me to let anything go!

OH OH! SPEAKING OF, LOOK WHAT I HAVE! A 6-trait pb Tiger Lily and a 3 carry of my medic nixi! Half the work is done on those! Man, i might even be finished by the end of the festival, then i can def get those Moonstones rolling!

eh, i don't do much with my skin, just the usual wash with a face towel XDD My friends do like all the moisturising, exfoliating and a whole lotta other stuff i don't understand, ugh, wayy too mcuh work for me. My skin ain't that bad~ XD

hahaha..i don't like the heat that much either, i really don't like sweating. It's soo unpleasant. But i don't deal with the cold very well, i get colds too easily and it's just so bad when i do x.x

yeah, i kinda rushed the traits. I just did whatever my mouse landed on for some XD I aimed to make the colour for each slot look good for any trait in that slot anyways. The aeri was hard for that... tigersparrow wings was a pain! >.< i was kinda stuck on the ryori cause' things just blended togther and you could'nt see much definitively, but i tried. I think i fixed it a little bit, but it could be better.

i've been fearing it since i was little. when every other kid said 'i wish 7 year olds could drive!' i'd be yelling NO and they always thought i was weird.

well i did the whole hardcore destroying my face when i had acne, so now i'm just really nice to it. if i don't take care of my face, it gets pimply and rough. i like smooth skin! i don't usually wear makeup though, partially because i'm too lazy, partially because my mom looks down on women who do wear make up so i never learned the proper stuff from her. ironically, she now can't leave the house without at least foundation and mascara...

well it's been in the 90's here and i have a sore throat, so honestly? doesn't matter what the temperature is...

i did each color carefully, tried not to make any one color overtake the design, since i mean, if you've got a white base, you don't need, 8 genes later, a pink mess! but of course, nytekrie are impossible to salvage, so. i tried to get the genes to flow a bit, look like the fish in some way, but who knows. thoroughly excited to see who/what wins though!

well actually, i'm pretty sure they poke through the threads with everyone's favorites; i mean, they need to get a handle on what the userbase actually likes, they're likely gonna take our input SOMEHOW. then i'm sure they look at what kind of colors they were aiming for; were they aiming for bright colors, dark colors? then they might be inclined to pick a design with that, unless they're absolutely stunned by another that doesn't fit their intentions. then there's the matter of how well any genes look together, since all the resulting pets have to have some sort of continuity, whether they have 3 genes or none! then they probably have a list of all the designs per species that they like, and start narrowing it down, and then, who knows, maybe they get a buddy to say which they like best, heheh. but let's be clear, i have no clue how they actually do it either.

i WAS working on a tiger lily, till i went looking to see how close others had made it, apparently like two others had tried, but one already had a 6vis, so i'm thinking of maybe trying another themed once the festival starts. i wanna be the first on something, heh. ALMOST there with the other babies though, yeesh, i might have to nab some pies to speed up the process...

i'm bouncing between the moonstone and my Zelda/Ganon luporas, back when they were first released i made a design for Wolf Link and Midna, and Sheechwan actually did all the breeding and completed the project, but i had gone on my impromptu hiatus and when i came back, she wasn't playing anymore, but had all the pets finished and had sent some really heartfelt messages about how sad it was that i stopped logging in...so i decided i'd make a pair, too, and if she ever came back, i'd have something to thank her with. i was tempted to make Link and Midna again, since there's better genes now and i did make designs, but honestly i think that would be a little rude, y'know? but GOD i want those moonstone babies...i'm so torn...

yeah, i mean, i don't exactly have the finances to find all the right stuff for me, either. i have like, no lips, so i can't even do any of those cool lipstick tricks...but i'd like to be able to be good at it, so when i DO wear it it's like...i know what i'm doing! i've done tooooons of research, all i really need is some foundation, good eyeliner, and probably a sealant of some sort because i'm a mess, hehe. makeup's like, another form of art to me. you can enhance your features, match your outfit, make yourself look like a fantasy character or something...hell, you can even make yourself appear masculine! it's amazing! which reminds me, i'll probably need lip eraser too, for crossplay...

yeah, make up really is an art, it works with more than color and goes beyond 2d shaps though. It works with people's faces, the shape and form of their features and the all the different textures and shades. Way too complicated for me :P A bit of gloss is fine for me. Maybe mascara, i really don't like it though. It's so heavy.

can't do mascara, my eyelashes are too long. with mascara, they swipe against my glasses and get stuck to them! liner is fun though, when i wore contacts daily it was easy to apply since i was used to having stuff near my eyes. still can't do mascara though, it's like, you have to aim it? and my hands are suuuper shaky, and while there's lots of tricks for smooth/straight eyeliner, there's none for mascara. not worth it. i like the idea of colorful stuff, i just don't have the face for it, heh. alas, i need a better wardrobe, that's my true calling...

yeah i made another post in the trait suggestion thread. i thought up of constellation runes, they'd be like a bunch of varying sized dots/stars, with lines connecting some of them? gosh that would look amazing on several species...i also suggested putting scarves on them though, i hope i'm still taken seriously...and i also said that Lunemaras need more butts. i'm suddenly doubting i'll be taken seriously...
