A'ine smiled a little. "Wow, we actually have something in common!" She said jokingly. "We better get back. If the boys ask I have your mother's bracelet in my pocket." She said smiling and stood up helping Ember stand.

Alderic shook his head. "Who knows? And I bet she will know without you telling her...."

"Uhh, A'ine?.... Thanks," Ember said as she allowed A'ine to help her stand. She wiped the remaining tears off her face, hoping the boys wouldn't be able to tell that she had been crying.

"I think Jora would forgive you, Alderic," says Orion.

A'ine smiled. "Absolutely no problem." She looked at Ember's face. "I think I can make them not see the crying..." She said sort of offering.

Alderic rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry if I doubt you a bit but I can't help it. My sisters would kill me if I ever told anyone what they tell me or I just happen to hear." He sighed and looked over at Jora's sleeves again. "Well, I guess the fireball did dry her off a bit..." He said glad that she wasn't laying there wet.

"How?" asks Ember, not wanting to tire out her friend anymore. I wonder who that boy was and what happened to him..... I wish I could have helped him. Ember wipes her eyes one more time, knowing it wouldn't helped much since she had already stopped crying. Her red eyes were the give away.

"Yeah..." Orion said, wishing Alderic would stop being so hard on himself. He had just made an honest mistake. "Alderic, you shouldn't be so hard on yourself," he said, voicing his thoughts.

A'ine smiled and sent Ember the image she had of her smiling at lunch. "I think I can make them see that instead. Because you know, you just found your mother's bracelet after all." She said smiling retreating a little from Ember's mind to save energy for the boys.

Alderic smiled and straightened up a bit. "I couldn't do that... I need to stay outta trouble!" He laughed a little and stood up. "Well, I guess you don't need me to stick around. I'd only cause trouble."

Ember smiled, both at the fact that A'ine was trying so hard to help her, and the image A'ine had given her. Ember held on to the image. "A'ine, how did you know what was happening when I broke down crying like that?" She asked.

"Do you want to go? Because if you do, I won't stop you, but I like talking to you, so I'd love me it if you stayed," said Orion. By now he realized that trying to convince Alderic that kit wasn't his fault was pointless. However, he could try to convince him that Orion looked him. Which was true. Despite his first opinion of Alderic, Orion did like him.

A'ine laughed a little ducking a branch. "How do you think?" She said tapping her head with her index finger. "Actually I'm not sure how it worked so well with that. Usually I can only feel strong emotions but I couldn't even feel Orion's when it happened to you and you were further away." She shrugged. "Maybe it's just that we're both girls. That could be why I could mind-speak to you to begin with."

Alderic smiled and stretched his back out. "Well, I'm just a little bit afraid your friend here will fry me the second she sees me." He shrugged to let out his shoulders. "I just have that effect on girls." He added thinking that Orion might want a small explanation.

"Could you talk to Orion or Alderic? I mean, they figured out you were telepathic. so you might have talked to them," Ember asked, remembering Alderic's question from before. Everyone I've met today, they all have something they wanted to hide. I bet Alderic and Orion do too. Ember thought.

Orion looked at Alderic. "Well this morning.... Jora didn't get mad at you, did she? I doubt she'd get mad at you now. After all, I've seen how forgiving she is first-hand. After all, your not the only one who made mistakes."

A'ine nodded. "Yeah, but I had been practicing with you all day. And it was kind of one of those 'someone's falling off a cliff so you have to learn to fly' moments." She came out of the trees and saw the boys talking. "Do you think they might want some more time to talk? Like guy talk?" She asked A'ine not sure what guys liked or didn't like. She had only known her brother and he hadn't had any friends so she wouldn't know.

Alderic laughed again. He flipped back onto his hands and thought for a bit. "No but she did throw a fireball at me does that count?" He said smiling a little. He was trying to turn it into a joke to make it a bit better. He started pacing on his hands. It had always helped him think. "I think she could get mad you just aren't irritating."

Ember didn't know either. "I think we should let them talk for a bit. Besides, I have some things to ask you, if you don't mind," Ember decided to ask her first question before A'ine answered. "Why did you sit next to me this morning? I wasn't exactly that approachable..." she said.

"Try telling that to my sister," Orion said, returning a joke with another joke. "Alderic, I hope you don't mind me asking, but what was your life like before you came here? So basically a day ago..." he said, realizing for the first time how much his life had changed over the course of one day.
