Night slid off of Umbra's back with a minor stumble. He loosened Umbra's saddle a little and did the same to Noble, "Good work you two."
You're fast, Umbra nickers, I admit it. Good race.

Noble shook the dust out of his mane before glancing over. Good race. You aren't half bad yourself. He agreed.

Collin let out a sigh, quickly fixed his quills, and knocked on the door. He took a step back as he waited for a response.

Melany opens the door, "Knight Collin is everything okay?"

Umbra steps back to avoid the dust, Thanks.

Collin offered a weary smile. "Mm. Not entirely. May I speak to you?"

"Of course," Melany opens the door, "Come in Lord Luner just sent Kane to look for you."

"He did?" Collin asked, stepping inside.

Melany nods once, "Someone shot an arrow at me this morning while I was praticing and Luner was concerned."

A tired frown tugged at his features. "Hm. That's what I came to talk to you about, I'm afraid." Collin remarked. "I think Kane just missed us-- actually, almost ran over us.... We should, er, probably wait for him to get back. But please, stay away from any windows."

Maleny nods once, "Of course even though I'm decent with a bow. I'll tell my siblings too. When do you think he's going to be back?" She notices how tired he looks, "That can wait come on you need sleep."

Collin folded his ears back in concern. "Are you sure?"
