Kai stares at Kalaldin whinning and growling at the same time before walking in front of Kaladin.

Collin sighed. "I was awake. All night then." He mumbled, pulling himself to his feet.

Kaladin quickly got back at her side. "Please?"

Kai keeps limping besides Kaladin without a word. She felt guity and obligated at the same time.


Starlight gets up, "Please tell me what happened."

Kaladin sighed. "...I... can't change your mind, can I?" He asked softly.

Collin let out a huff. "Alright, but you may want to have a seat miss; It's quite a bit."

Starlight sits down looking in Collin direction.


Kai looks up at Kaladin, No you can't. I refuse to leave you in your time of need.

Kaladin looked down at the ground hesitantly.

Collin clasped his hands together.

"Right, I'll try and condense it as much as I can.

After we left last night, you fell asleep on your horse. Robin confronted me, we talked, and he realized you weren't doing too well. We tool you to the healer just in case, and sure enough, you were poisoned. We went to find someone to help and found a giant worm monster instead. Night showed up and helped drive it off, but then I got shot at by an assassin. He missed, we hunted down the assassin to try an get information out of him.

(Speaking of, Robin, is he still here?)

Eventually we got a hold of some antivenom and then I waited the rest of the night for you to wake up."

Starlight seems a little shocked to say the least, "What have I done to make enemies now?"


Kai stops for a brief break. She licks at her leg whimpering painfully.

"They, er, mixed up the targets from what the assassin told us." Collin mumbled. "You didn't do anything to my knowledge."

Kaladim waited for her, then sighed. "Stay. I'm going to get you something to dull the pain, I'll be just a minute." He told her before jogging off.

Kai didn't protest as she sat down looking around to see if there were any of the non-mobian friends she had made.

Starlight nods once, "We have to warn them then."

"Warn?" Collin asked, though he quickly put two and two together. "Oh! Warn--... That's right...!"

A couple of the hunting wolves were walking by, one of them giving Kai a brief nod in greeting.
