Laura bit her lip starting to cry more. "But I'm scarred on the inside too..." She said blinking trying to stop the tears.

Nathaniel shrugs. "Whatever ya say." He said then walked over to Jules and Carl. Jules looked at him her face serious but her eyes sparkled. "We have a problem." He looked at her quizzically. "What's up?"

Jules smiled. "Carl's never played Capture the Flag." Nathaniel stared at the boy. He then looked around at the other kids. "Okay! Time for a game!" He yelled hoping all the other kids would come.

Margo went only because Brenda said she wanted to. They walked over and stood there.

Opal smiled as Kara put her down and she ran over to the other kids.

She looked at the woman. "I don't think Mister Casey wanted you to move." She said looking back at the man who had yelled.

Kristine smiles up at him and kisses him on the cheek. "Were you sleeping well?" She asked.

Miles looks at her. "It's ok, scars fade with time some even disappear. I need to know, are my efforts worth the fight it takes, or should I give up now?"

Carl was ready for his question. "Nathainal can we go find a pet shop later?"

Max looks back at the girl. "He's not here to stop me."

Rick was still worried.

Laura walked closer to him putting her face in his shoulder. "I don't know... I just feel so empty right now..." She said rubbing her face into his shoulder.

Nathaniel smiled. "Sure Carl, whatever ya like." He looked around and noticed the only kids there were the girls, besides Sophia, and Carl. "Ash Martin Sophia! Come on we're gonna play a game!"

Jules smiled. He seemed like he was in an extra good mood.

She shakes her head. "But you can stop yourself."

Kristine looked him in the eye. "Did you sleep well?" She said biting her lip worried about his silence.

Miles hugs her softly. "I just want to know if you'll ever like me..."

Rick shrugs. "It was an ok sleep."

Carl looks at the young man. "Why can't we go now?"

Martin and Sophia join the group. Ash is no where to be found.

Leon steps out of the bus. "I could do with a game, can I play?" He pushes Simon over. "And him?"

Laura shook a little from the sobs. "I like you... I just don't know if there's more or not..." She whispered.

Kristine sighs. "I really hadn't wanted to wake you up..." She said closing her eyes.

Nathaniel ruffles the boy's hair. "'Cause I gotta teach ya ta play capture the flag." He said smiling. "Sure ya guys can play."

Margo looks at Martin. "Hey where's Ash? Doesn't he want to play?" She asked as she suddenly remembered the woman's words from the night before.

Miles wanted to push her away, but did not. "Could you ever love me?"

Carl crosses his arm and huffs.

Simon smiles. "What game are you playing?" He asks a little bit slow on the mind.

Rick looks at her. "I'm better off awake."

Ash jumps at Margo. "Boo!"

Laura bit her lip still crying. "I...I..." She stuttered not knowing what to say. "Yes?... No? I just don't know. I feel so empty." She said leaning on him. He was strong and kind.

Nathaniel chuckled a little. "After lunch. I promise." He told the boy then look at the man. "Capture the Flag."

Brenda jumped when Ash yelled. But Margo stayed still. Margo was hard to scare as ever. "Hi Ash. Did you sleep well?" Margo asked.

Kristine shakes her head. "Come on. Let's go get somethin' ta eat." She said standing suddenly feeling not eating since yesterday.

Miles hugs her. "The best things in life are the ones you simply let free..." He says quietly.

Carl sighs. "Come on then let's get the game started."

Simon claps his hands. "I like this game!"

Leon's face looked the same, not changing. "I could do with a good run. How many teams?"

Rick stands. "Come on then."

Laura swallows hard and nods. "I guess so... But how can I feel anything other then this emptiness inside?" She asked looking up at his face.

Nathaniel nodded and took out two bandannas he had grabbed at the clothes store. "If we had a few more girls here we could do guys verses girls..." He said after counting out everybody.

Opal smiles. "I'll go get my Mommy!" She yelled happily and ran off to get Kara.

Mike and Sarah walked over to them. "Man I love this game! Can we play?" Mike asks as Sarah looks uneasily at Leon.

Nathaniel nodded. "Now then who's team captains?" He asked looking at everyone.

Margo smiled. "If miss Kara plays I think she'd be our captain." She said Brenda nodding in agreement.

Kristine nods and walks out of the room toward the stairs. "I'm glad to be back again." She said feeling her bruised wrists sting a little.

Leon eyes the lady. "I'm playing cause Simon needed someone to push him." He puts a hand on his side.

Max raises her hand. "I want to play!"

Newt comes out from behind Max. "I'll play...."

Rick follows. "I'm not sure it was safe for me to come back but I guess I'm glad to be here."

Miles looks into her eyes. "You find something to fill the gap." He leans closer, waiting to kiss her.
