Despite the fact that she was indeed hungry, instinct wouldn't allow her to come any closer to Night, so she ended up keeping her distance, warily eyeing him.

Night backs away even more, "I understand you're scared I'll be on my way now."

Only when the creature could no longer detect Night did she approach to eat, though her antannae still swayed attentively as if suspecting a trap.

Collin folded his ears back. "...Hrm..." He hummed to himself thoughtfully. "Can't hear him talking anymore..."

Night approaches Collin and Robin, "Sorry to scare you but that was a bad situation. She was only hungry and not really dangerous to you until you attacked her."
Umbra nuzzles him and Night pets him.

Collin wordlessly glanced at Robin before responding. "Thank you for handling that. It's probably better than we could've done..." He trailed off, stifling a yawn.

"Come on let's get back to camp," Night suggests walking towards camp with Umbra on his heels, "You're welcome by the way."
Robin shakes his head, "I'm keeping the arrow."
"Fine by me."

Collin walked along behind them. With the adrenaline rush over, he looked quite tired.

After a few minutes they get back to camp where the healer is waiting.
"Do you want to wait til morning for the news?"

Collin twitched an ear. "Mm? Oh, no, no, go ahead."

"The poison is one I am unfamiliar with one from an exotic snake," The healer explains, "I don't know how to treat it."
Night grabs the arrow from Robin and sniffs it again, "This may be the same poison."
