Laura smiles a little closing her eyes tears still running down her face. "You remind me of Russ... He liked doing things like this for me..." She said opening her eyes looking up at him. "I'm sorry... For being such a pain."

Jules sighs back. "No, but it shouldn't be too long." She said winking at the boy.

She looks away trying not to say anything to this woman. "I don't like it very much. I was going to ask this lady if she'd give me a new name."

Annie glares at him. "Then what's his face will fix it for her. And It won't matter any more." She said walking away.

Nathaniel sighed. "Annie... be careful." She waves back at him not saying another word.

Kristine tries to nod a little. She puts her hand over her mouth as she continues to cough. A large clump of blood comes up and she manages to stop coughing. "I'm fine..." She says lying a little.

rick looks at her concerned. "You dont look ok."

Miles smiles. "You were never a pain, i was the one that was with not leaving you be and all."

Carl nods and plays with the dirt again.

Max looks at the little girl. "I could give you a name if you want."

Shanks stares at the girl as he gets into the helicopter. "Be careful."

Kristine shakes her head. "I'm good... Probably just swallowed some blood..." She said gentle touching the scab on her forehead. "I'm fine." She said standing.

Laura looks at him. "I was..." She said. She didn't know what to do. She hated not knowing. Did she feel anything towards this man? Should she just tell him no and make him wait for someone better? she reached her hand up and wiped at the tears near her scars.

Jules sighs. "Come on." She said standing up wiping the dirt off her hands on her thighs. "We're going to play capture the flag." She said holding a hand out to him.

She shakes her head. "No. This other lady's special. She saved me yesterday."

Nathaniel waves to her as he takes off. "Stubborna** Baby sister..." He muttered to himself smiling.

Miles sighs. She did not seem all that happy, just sad really. "I sorry, I know I've been a bit pushy..." He turns away. "I promise I'll leave you alone from now on."

Rick shakes his head. "No you don't look ok."

Carl stands. "What's capture the flag?"

Max lets go of the child, feeling a bit sad. "Oh ok then." She looks away.

Laura bit her lip and closed her eyes. "Miles... Please don't do that." She said walking a little closer to him. She puts her hand in his holding him there.

Kristine walks over to him. "I'm Fine Cowboy..." She said smiling weakly at him.

Jules stares at him. "You really don't know?" She asked her eyes wide.

She sighs. "I'm sorry, I just really want her to give me a name..." She said laying back looking up at the clouds.

Rick looks at her. "Please don't lie to me, I can't lose you too."

Miles' face was on of sorrow. He looks into her eyes. "It no trouble really, Ill just pack my things and leave. I've always been better working alone to survive..."

Max sighs. "It's fine, I'm just depressed I think."

Carl nods.

Kristine shakes her head. "Ya won't. I'm fine Really." She said sitting down next to him.

Laura shakes her head. "Right." She holds the note in his face. "So this was just a big joke to play on me? You don't really care you want me to be desperate for someone to love me." She stands in front of him. "You just want to survive but you don't really want to live. You don't really love me..." She said turning away.

She sighs as well. "Me too..."

Nathaniel flies back with the trap full of different clothes and blankets. He lands and gets out. He sees Jules and Carl and smiles at them with a wave as he starts to unload.

Jules smiles and waves back.

Miles looks at her back, the pain of his failure to act getting to him. "I do love you, and what i wrote was true, but by the way you act around me, it makes me feel like you dont like me back."

Rick looks at her. "Then what do you call that little fit, and the blood?"

Shanks sighs, they were all so happy. How did none of them feel like death was looming over them?

Max smiles again. "I wonder where that Casey guy got off to."

Laura stopped and hugged herself with her one arm. "I'm just confused... I'm sorry but after what I've been though it just hits hard to have lost Russ..." She turned to face him. "I was so scarred but he still accepted me." She moved the arm she had over her belly a little more a lot of smaller scars showed. "I had him for almost eight wonderful years and he defined part of who I am..." she started crying and licked her bottom lip.

Kristine sighed and leaned on him. "I did just get shoot in the stomach a couple days ago. Maybe some blood got in my stomach that's all there is to it..."

Nathaniel looks over to Shanks. "What's the matter?" He asked as he finished unloading.

She nodded. "So, what do you think of this little group?"

Miles takes her hand. "I dont care what you may look like on the outside, its whats on the inside that counts, the character is the best of all."

Shanks stares still, then shakes his head to clear his mind. "What? oh sorry im fine..."

Rick Hugs her. "Yeah that must be it." but deep inside he did not find that belivable.

Max looks at the new people that came. "Little? this is little?" she smiles, and tries to stand. She stumbles on her bad leg, but manages to hop over to the front of the bus.
