After a few minutes, Collin slowed to a halt, his grip on his sword hilt slakening. "Robin... Robin, look--" He managed, peering out over a large shrub of some sort.

As quietly as possible Robin pulls back his bow and aims for what Collin was looking at. One move from the creature and it would be his target.

He wouldn't have had any trouble spotting it; the creature was already moving at a steady pace. No, that wasn't the issuse.

The problem was that the creature was massive.

An alien-looking monstrosity somewhat resembling a caterllar with its long, smooth body. Even in the dark, the creature's skin was clearly scarlet, speckled with gold and deep crimson. It's numerous legs carried its form across the forest floor with fluid ease, each one equipped with a retracable claw that gleamed in the moonlight. At it's head, two long anteanne guided it to make up for it's sirprisingly small eyes. Wether or not it had teeth was up for debate, though Collin decided not to think too hard about that.

Robin glances at his arrowtip wondering if that would even penitrate the monster's hide. He had hope though and with that he pulled back the bow, aimed, and fired within two and a half seconds. He hit the creature's side being that one it was too big to miss and two it was the most visable.
"_{What now?}"

The creature let out a startled screech as the arrow penetrated it's skin, prompting Collin to fold his ears back. It raised its head upward and turned around, antennea angled in their direction.
"Robin, I think you made it mad...!"

"I didn't hear a better idea from you," Robin aims at the creatures's antennea and fires again just barly hitting his mark, "How do we stop this creature?"

"Drive it off and don't get eaten?" Collin suggested, readying his blade as the creature had the forsight to swerve it's head out of the way of the arrow.

Robin mutters quietly as he knocks another arrow, "How?"

"Hit it lots? I don't know, do I look like a hedgehog with a more elaborate plan?" Collin exclaimed. He didn't wait for a response, as his ears perked up. He sprang forward, shoving both Robin and himself to the ground right as the creature lunged at them.

Robin's shot ended up in a tree since he was shoved, "Thanks. So are you gonna try to get close and hit while I cover you?"
