Jason heard Ironhorse and Puck,and fell into Puck's words,his eyes slowly opening and seeing again,his body stopped shaking and he looked to Puck. " They left me....I....wasn't worth it.....they left me for a r-reason..." He said softly,speaking to Puck about that pink mooned night,of how he was left there to die and yet he'd hatched that very night.

"No. They left you because you were different. That's no reason to leave someone. You said that you and an egg that you had taken care of, now a hatchling, were the only ones left of your kind." Puck pointed out. Ironhorse nodded in agreement.

"Th-the multiwings...wh-where almost w-wiped out because th-they have hints of human blood i-in them....I have half....w-we'er themed abominations..." he said softly,tail shivering as he painfully pulled it closer against the deepened cracks all over his body.

"I don't think humans are all that bad," Puck said with a shrug. "And you're no abomination so don't even say that. It's so far from the truth that it's not funny."

Jason's eyes focused on Pucks and in them showed years of being told he was a monster,beast,abomination.Years of being snickered at,laughed at,stared at,sneered at. Treated like an animal at some points,and they showed how much he wanted to believe him,how much he wanted to be free'd from these words that he'd been told and taught.

Puck wanted to make Jason believe him, to release him from all the taunting and the teasing, the bullying. "Those people were just jerks, afraid of different things. They were afraid of you. That's why they were so mean."

"I don't want anyone to fear me...unless they'er the enemy...but I don't want to just be feared." He said softly,holding tightly to Pucks hand as if he would give up and turn away.

"You can't really control what people fear, unfortunately. They tend to fear different things. However, you can continue to be nice to people, just as you have been. All you can do is try your best." Puck squeezed Jason's hand gently with a small smile

Jason nodded,trusting Puck,and his wings and tail relaxed a bit despite that the maroon still showed his physical pain. "It just hurts,no matter how much I hide it or try to act like it doesn't ... it still hurts. But...I'll keep trying. Just like that first night,I won't give up." He said,smiling faintly back to Puck. He felt that if Puck said he just had to Keep trying his best,that he could. He could.

"Don't try to hide it, or act like it doesn't hurt. Everyone has times where they feel like they can't. Like everyone has given up on them, like the whole world is against them. Hiding or acting like it doesn't hurt can only make it worse, and eventually, those feelings will show themselves anyway."
