miles looks away taking the box out of his pocket. "Here I got you something." He hands it to her.

Shanks puts his arm down. "You know each other?"

Carl jumps a little frightened. "Playing in the dirt." He said shyly.

Max stays quiet for a moment. "I did but I lost her when she was very young..."

Laura looks at the box and bites her lip. "That's very nice of you... You sure you want to give it to me?" She asked feeling a little unworthy of anything from him. He had been so kind to her and she kept pushing him away.

Annie pushed away from him remembering the other man was there. "You better believe it. I'm his sister." She said grabbing one of the carts from the elevator and started walking toward the copter.

Jules smiles. "i can see that. Are you making anything special?" She asked a little curious. She was actually scared for Nathaniel and was trying to calm down.

She frowns. "I'm sorry I asked..." She said feeling bad from bringing back any bad memories for the woman.

Kristine stopped coughing for a bit and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. It was seemed red. She closed her eyes shaking a little She didn't want Rick to worry.

Miles nods. "I'm sure I'm sure. If you don't like it just tell me, I'll understand." He still did not look at her, in fear that she would not like the present.

Shanks smiles. "That's good, from the way it sounded I thought it was something else."

Carl looks you at her, shaking his head. "No I was just playing."

Max smiles at the kid. "It's ok, I was already thinking about her."

Laura bit her lip and looked at the note. "Should I read this first?" She asked wondering.

Annie stuck her tongue out. "Ew. No offence Nathaniel but you aren't my type." She said opening the helicopter and putting the paint in first.

Nathaniel smiled at her. "Mom's going to be so happy to see ya." He said grabbing the second cart and pulling it toward the copter. He handed the paint cans up to her.

Annie shook her head. "I don't want mom to know..." Nathaniel stared at her almost dropping the can of paint he was holding. "What?! Do ya know what it's doin' ta her thinkin' ya are dead?!" She nods. "She's moving on from dad. I'll just drag her back down."

Jules sighs. "Can I play with you?" SHe asked feeling small in the world right then

She nods. "Okay..."

Miles nods. "That is if you want to." He smiles some hoping that she may see how much he did like her.

Shanks laughs some but stops when she says that she won't tell her mom. "But it hurts her to even think of you why would you not tell her?"

Carl nods. "I think we need a dog, or a cat." He smiles. "It's only been a few days want to go see if we can find a pet shop?"

Max smiles and hugs the girl some. "So where's your mommy?"

Laura bit her lip. She decided that looking in the box first would be best. She gasps at the pendent. "It's beautiful, Miles. Thank you." She said lifting it by the chain. She reached it behind her neck and tried to do it with one hand. He really was so kind.

Annie sighs. "Your friend's kind of dim Nathaniel." She said then looked at the man still loading up the stuff. "I'm just a reminder of her biggest mistake. Nathaniel isn't because she didn't know how dirty dad was until after she was going to have me..." She sighed again and stopped loading. "I have been watching a little bit of the streets and saw mama with that new guy of hers. She doesn't need a reminder of John."

Jules smiles. "Maybe that's something for you to do with Nathaniel as a brother thing." She said.

Sammy yawned. He ran outside of the bus looking for Opal. He saw her with Kara and stood by the woman's feet.

She shys away from the hug. "She's somewhere.... What was your daughter's name?" She asked not liking the way the conversion was going.

Miles smiles and helps her put it on. "I thought you may like it."

Shanks was still a bit confused. "But still i would be dying to see how my mom was if i had been lost from her."

Carl sighs. "Ok, do you have any clue where he went then?"

Max smiles. "I wanted to name her Sara by i never got the chance to."

Laura closed her eyes for a second. She opened them again and opened the note. As she read it a few tears streaked down her face. It was beautiful, she reread it trying to see every last detail of it. She stood up. "This is really how you feel?" She asked tears still streaking down her face a little.

Annie rolled her eyes. "I just said I saw her with her new guy. She's happy and I know it." She said getting out of the helicopter. "She doesn't need me dragging her down."

Nathaniel sighed. "Fine Annie. Whatever you want. Just think about it please?" He asked her. he really wanted her to meet Jules.

Jules nods. "He went with Shanks to get some stuff to fix up the prison."

She thinks for a bit. "That's a pretty name. There's a lady named Sarah here." She said looking away for a bit.

Kristine wiped her hands off on her blood stained jeans. She coughed again only harder. She tried to stop it to keep from waking Rick but she kept coughing.

Miles smiles. "yes thats way i wrote it."

Carl sighs again. "Do you know when he will be back then?"

Max smiles. "I've always like that name." a tear rolls down her face. "So whats your name again?"

Shanks was a little angry at this girl. "But deep inside she is being torn apart by pain from losing you."

Rick wakes. "Kristen are you ok?"
