Ajal sighs, "Sonic if you end up in a watery situation how will you survive?"

The hedgehog shivered, blue fur dark and heavy with water. "I-I...." He stammered, obviously shaken.

Ajal got out of the water and tossed Sonic a towel. He got Sonic right in the face, "If the guild had known you were afraid of water they would have used that against you.'

Sonic flashed a nervous smile. "Er... T-then we'll hope they don't?" He said, trying very hard to sound optimistic, even though it only served to make him sound even more uneasy.

"I hope so too but they know," Ajal told him.
Clay got out of the water.

The hedgehog sighed, pulling the towel around himself and sitting down, massaging his brow with a soft groan.
"....Was I hyperventalatin' back there?" He asked.

"About and that is the only reason I released you," Ajal answers.
Clay frowns and looks at Sonic, "Be grateful he didn't throw you in."

Sonic tensed up at the thought. "I'd drown." He said simply, ears tipped forward and eyes gazing at the ground as if it had just become real interesting.

(What if the reason he's scared of water is because he can't move in it quickly? His strength is in his speed, and maybe without it he feels vunerable?)

(Could be or it could be water slows a person down when they try to run or when the water is too deep the currents' natural speed is in control and not the person.)

"Then let us help you get over your fear," Clay and Ajal offer.

(Yeah. Either that or something bad happened to him and it involved water.)

Sonic snapped to attention, ears pressed back against his skull.
"No thank you."
