Selkie hadn't been down to the medical ward in a few days even though he felt ill even thinking about Angel's Island which was where they were approaching. Several weeks had pasted since that day that Selkie had played chess with Kaladin.


Calico waited paciently to hear the verdict from the chiefton. His leg was nearly healed by this point and he was more then ready to back to the sea and to find his crew.

Kaladin was currently out on deck, leaning over the side a bit and looking ahead. He smiled, then glanced down at Kai briefly. "Are you going to see Sakani and Valko again?"

Zedia walked into the tent, looking thoughtful about something.

Kai was smiling in her doggy way, Bet I can get there before you.
Selkie shivers slightly as the island comes into view. He felt guilty but knew this was for the best.


Calico looks up at Zedia but not wanting to intrupt her thought he stayed quiet.

"...You're allowed to stay until you heal and can find a way to ht back to your own kind." Zedia spoke up after a moment. "As long as you don't cause too much trouble."

"I wouldn't take that bet." Kaladin replied with a chuckle.

"Thank you," Calico smiles, "If I may, may I go for a walk down to the beach?"


Kai looks up happily at the island. She howls hoping her brother would hear that she was back at least for a whle.

Zedia nodded. "Yes, you're clear to go."

Kaladin smiled, then glanced back at Selkie with a frown. "Are you alright? I remember you didn't do to well last time we were here..."

Selkie shutters, "I'll be staying on the ship until you're ready to leave."

Calico gets up and makes his way over to the beach, "I don't believe my luck the one ship I can't take."

"So, that's a no?" Kaladin asked.

"I'll be fine," Selkie answers, "umm we can't get close enough without risking beaching her so you'll have to take a rowboat. If you want I can have one fo the crew row you there."
