Starlight raises an eyebrow at that, "Afraid I'll get lost? I'm sorry Collin I'm not fit to go nor to rule. I'm just a messanger."

This made Jacob slightly more nervous as he steps back again towards the beach, "Come out please."

"No, no. You wouldn't get lost." Collin replied with a sigh, glancing at the floor. "But I understand, and honestly? The idea doesn't really appeal to me, either. There's no shame in declining if you're uncomfortable with that."

Jacob finally got his answer in the form of a well-thrown stone that whizzed past him, dangerously close to his ear.

Jacob turns and flees jumping on the raft and paddling away as fast as he could leaving his brother behind.


"I'm sorry Collin it's just I know I'm a stand in for the next ruler. I was never meant for this role. The only reason I have to go is because if I don't I risk loosing Lord Luner as an ally," Starlight responds, "because I have a bad feeling that he might be stepping down soon."

(....Tch... well, I mean I don't wanna lie...)

Collin nodded in understanding. "Hm.... Well, alright. Do you want to take a break for now?"

"No I need to do this," Starlight responds knowing if she stopped she wouldn't go back to it.

Collin tipped an ear, then nodded. "Alright.... Well, I think we could try something a bit more interesting for now--" He cut off abruptly, then let out a sharp sigh as if recalling something.

Calico growls faintly, "Jacob you coward."

Starlight frowns, "I'm sorry if this brings back painful memories."

"No, it's not that. This actually helps take my mind off of what happened." Collin assured her. "It's Selkie I'm worried about. I just remebered I might need to show you how to dance and I have a sneaky feeling he wouldn't like that." He added with a chuckle.

Shane stepped out of the foliage, eyes scanning the shore until he noticed Calico. "Well, well, what'd we have here?" He grumbled.

Starlight laughs, "Selkie is as graceful as can be on the sea but on land he's all left feet when it comes to dancing. Believe me Ive danced with him."


Calico galnces at Shane trying not to look threatening as with vision started to fade to black.
