She almost squeaked again at the sight of Basil.
"Oh gosh, you're way cuter. I never even thought I'd see a human for myself on this dingy, backwater space rock."
She took a second to compose herself, still keeping a bit of a smile.

"Sorry, sorry.. Just don't get to see your kind very often anymore. When my species heard about you guys getting killed off, it almost broke my heart. Always thought you space-monkeys were adorable.. Just gets the better of me. I'm aaactually supposed to be somewhere else right now, just got me distracted, so I'll get out of your hair if ya want, cutie."

Scias kept himself calm, but the sight of the gurnery did admittedly get him a bit nervous. The idea of being the one tortured didn't sit well with him, but anything these aliens could throw at him was nothing compared to the wrath of his own kind. He'd survive, it was just a matter of exhausting his captors in the process.

Basil was a bit confused, but more than that she was received. Now that she thought abut it, this woman kinda looked like Scias in terms of species. Maybe her mission had something to do with him. "If i may ask, what exactly is you intended purpose here? Usually you kind would sooner stick a knife through me than call me cute, so you probably aren't here to kill..


Zeth*

Basil was right, this woman must be here for some other business if she hasn't shown a sign of aggression as of yet. Zeth's interest was certainly perked. Maybe Zeth could offer her assistance in some way, if Corasi didn't kill her first.



Scias was dragged to the gurney and strapped down securely. The two men that had put him there left and were almost immediately replaced by two people in white coats. "Hello there, and welcome. We are glad to have you Don't look so serious, we are just here to ask questions, thats all. So tell us, how are those friends of yours."

"You're a Daarizi aren't you? You're going to try to save Scias. That's my guess. You aren't bothering us, and if you are here to help Scias we could trust you. And how am I cute?!" She had heard what she had been 'transmitting' to other... Daarizis maybe?

(Oof. Waking up late will be the death of me in this roleplay. You guys write too much in the morning, in my opinion. I tried reading through and it was vury challenging. Can someone tell me what's going on, because although I kinda get it, I have no idea where I am or what I should say.)

(Okay, so basically, scias is about to be tortured for info. Meanwhile- Hexic, Basil, and Corasi have just been approached by Xedite's new character, who Corasi and Basil think is going to go save Scias. They want to help. Zeth has been watching this whole time and also wants to help. That's the just of it)

She sighed and relented with an exhale of pink static. "We.. really need to get better at copying you creatures if we don't want to find ourselves in the same position in the future.
But no, I'm not here with the little invasion that's going on. We Daarizi have pledged to stay out of barbaric acts like this unless we have good reasons to get into them in the first place, of course. We have no interest in conquering this rock, myself especially. I'm just here on orders to reclaim some stolen property."
She tapped slightly on her wrist before projecting a holographic profile in front of herself. It was probably impossible for them to decipher the strange runic language of it, but a picture of X in both his Daarizi and assumed human form were visible.
"Recognize him? I guess Zeizan counts as collateral though. I don't like helping him out of his own messes, but when it comes down to it, I get sent to babysit him a hell of a lot."

Scias remained silent, having nothing to say to the two people.

Corasi gasped. "Y-yes we do. You- you're too late. Someone else killed him with an EMP already. Scias was taken. All to protect us!" She broke down and started sobbing.
