Kai barks in the cargo hold as Selkie tries to quiet her.

(Okay, what's your idea? 'Cause mine involves a charather I haven't mentioned since... I don't even know, and a lot of rocks.)

Kaladin trotted downstairs, then sighed when he heard Kai barking. "Oh, give him some space. Selkie, you don't need to hide."

Collin nodded, then gestured towards the castle. "Let's head inside then."

"Who was hiding I just dont want a headache," Selkie lets Kai go.


Starlight quickly follows Collin inside.

The hedgehog led Starlight down to the castle's own ballroom, pausing for a moment to admire the tapestries hanging down from the ceiling. Opal certianally had an eye for decoration, and though the room hadn't been used for a while, the cleaning staff did a fine jod as well.

Starlight follows Collin not being able to see the tapastries she trusted to Collin's judgement on them.


"I don't get them often it's just barking or seagulls squaking all the time occasionally does it," Selkie answers, 'I don't have one now."

Collin paused and shook his head briefly. "Er, sorry. I got a bit nastolgic there for a moment." He said sheepishly.

Starlight smiles, "It's alright I get nastolic too just in other parts of the castle."


Selkie finishes working in the cargo hold, "Anything else?"

Collin nodded in understanding. "I get it." He said with a smile. "Now, I should probably tell you now, most of the formalities aren't very.... fun, to say the least. I don't even understand the point of some of them, honestly. I mean, white gloves are mandatory. Why? I can only guess." He started, trying to keep a light tone. "But it's considered proper and polite. It helps when I remind myself it's more for everyone else in the room.... Does that make sense?"
