"I know but still niether of us would stand a chance against a demon."

"Yeah, I know. But still. I'd rather get hurt that see you suffer again."

"Don't you get it Maverick if they can make a horse like a demon it can most likely make us the same way."

"It would probably kill us first, to be honest." He didn't mention it, but it was a miracle Desta had lasted as long as she had.

"Yeah but think the demon could use who ever got infected to hurt the other," Desta whispers highly worried.

"Maybe. Again, the question would be if we would still be alive after the demon rooted itself inside the person."
