Rookie frowned and shook his head. "You're asking the wrong person..."

"Clay," Ajal asks.
"Don't ask me."
"Great just great."


In the hospital room Kini gets up out of bed and takes a few steps, "I'll be back to work in no time."
"Get back in bed!" The nurse growls at him.
"Why I'm fine," Kini says.

"No, you aren't." Joe spoke.

Sonic shrugged and wandered off a little ways. "Mm. Can't cover your tracks if the snow is fresh." He said.

Night knew tricks to cover his trail.


"Joe I'm just fine just bruised," Kini protests.

"Do I need to prove it?" Joe asked, dryly.

After a few minutes, Rookie decided to speak up.
"Sonic?"
"Yeah?"
"Those are your own tracks."
"Huh. That makes more sense."

"Night one Sonic zero," Clay mutters.


The nurse raises an eyebrow, "I'll look the other direction if you do."
Kini looks at Joe, "I'm tired of confined space."

"Well, you shouldn't be walking. Not yet, anyway." Joe huffed.

"But how? Like, nobody is that skilled at track-covering. If you're trying to hide, avoid snow, that's how it usually goes." Sonic pondered aloud.

Ajal chuckles, "Do what the locals do don't walk, jump."


"Why not," Kini asks.

Joe reached out and lightly touched one of the bruises.

Sonic frowned, then looked up at the roof of the press. "Hang on..." He said, backing up.

Kini didn't shrink back but the touch still hurt.

Ajal looks at Sonic curiously.
