She follows Chelsea.


"My whole life."

Donavan pins his ears back and bears his teeth as they get close. He didn't want to them to get too close.
Chelsea stops in her tracks, "It's that horse again."
"Excuse you," Donavan grumbles, "I'm no more a horse then you are a bug."
Chelsea stares in Donavan's direction.


Lycan nods once, "I see."

She stares at Donavan.


She goes quiet, absently twirling a few strands of hair.

Donavan looks at them, "Well?"



"Sorry Delta," Lycan apologized, "is there anything you want to talk about?"

Rim stays quiet, just watching.



"I'm not sure." She frowns, thinking. "I... don't think I've ever done small talk before."

Donavan watches Rim waiting for her to speak.



"Fair enough," Lycan sniffs the air, "So what about the others who live around here? Are they friendly or hostile?"

She doesn't say anything.


"It varies a lot by species. Sirens have a bad reputation around here, as do humans."

Donavan sighs before transforming into a human, "Better?"



"Not surprising."

She still stays quiet, but that seems to calm her a little.


She shrugs and sighs. "I'm used to it. They've had bad experiences with sirens- same with humans."

Donavan looks at her as he moves his hair out of his eyes, "Well?"


"Didn't say I blamed either," Lycan responds, "I've had both good and bad experiences with sirens too."
