Chikatu got up once the room stopped shaking. She hobbled over to Latte, pulling him to his feet.

"Wh-hat," Latte whispered in shock as he heard her thoughts, "I-I'm not stabbing... you," He said in shock.

"Come on, you know what happens when we 'die'," She whispered handing him the knife he always kept in his pocket, "We can't let them get Poli in the library."

Abyss took a deep breath and sat besides Jasper.

"You okay now? Not a lot of things scare you that bad." Jasper said, putting an arm around Jasper. "Just be careful, we don't want this collapsing."

Abyss nodded, but one hand gripped Jaspers shirt. Tightly. "Promise you'll never leave me?"

Jasper nodded. "How many times have we gone over this?"

"... A lot."

"Exactly, I'll never leave my best friend."

"Only friend."

"Hey, that's why you're the best." He said, nudging Abyss's shoulder.

Abyss laughed softly.

"I c-can't do that," He whispered in shock as Chikatu held the knife tightly, "Please put it down."

"I'm sorry Latte, please be safe," She plunged the knife in his heart as he yelped in shock.

"Ch-hi," He muttered in shock as everything swirled into darkness.

She waited until he want limb and his body disappeared, she knew he would be fine, the real question was would she? She raised the knife, ready to stab herself.

Latte sat up, gasping. He was in the library, he was safe. He got up, walking around. He needed to look for a certain book.

Jasper looked up. "Oh no." He lifted a hand and a white tendril shot from around his wrist to take the knife from her.

Abyss's eyes widened.

Chikatu yelped as the knife was taken from her.
"Not so smart now... you don't have Latte, the only one that can open the doors," She smirked a bit, knowing she was still in danger but not caring.

Jasper growled.

Abyss put a hand on his friends shoulders to keep him from losing it. "Shhh. I could try and keep the room stable, we can go look for Latte."

"You could try. I'll doubt you'll find him if he's in the place you can't reach," She said in a sassy manner, "Just leave us alone already!"

"Actually." Abyss piped in, growling. "Jasper can make portals, and he can get to, if not fairly close, to the person just by description."

jasper sighed. "I'd be at least a mile away or even more if it's a place I can't get to on a normal level." He told Abyss. "How many times have we gone over this?"

"..." Abyss began counting on his fingers. "Uh... More than ten for sure." He said, nodding.

She laughed a bit, knowing how she had the upper hand.
"Well guess it's a goose chase," She teased sitting down, wishing her stupid ankle would heal, "Have fun. See you never love birds," She winked.

Jasper huffed. "We're not love birds." He growled.

Abyss tapped two fingers together, blushing scarlet. "Ermm...."

Jasper looked to Abyss in confusion.
