John gave a brief nod, then wandered off to get what he needed.

Blaze watches Dr. Watson's eyes move with scrutinizing eyes.
"Blaze be nice Dr. Watson isn't going to hurt me," Jonathan calms Blaze remembering what happened last time.

(Do you have a new mystery or want me to try another?)

Watson smiled at the horse, holding up the towel in his hand. "It's only warm water."
(Sorry my responses are slow. I've been really swamped lately.)

Blaze tries to sniff the towel before going back to watching Jonathan.
"Well you've passed his test," Jonathan smiles.

John smiled and pressed the rag against Johnathan's eye. "So, how'd you end up with a shiner like that?"

"Long story short the Captain saw me helping you and met up with two of my old rivals who told their friends and the five of them came after me. It would have been a lot worse if that constible hadn't walked by."

"Sorry to hear that." Watson replied as he worked.

Jonathan looks at Watson, "Don't be sorry you weren't the one who beat me up. Thank you by the way for doing this."
Sherlock looks over Blaze again, "Is there anything else you'd like to add to that statement Jonathan?"
"Don't get too close to Blaze he kicks, bites, and stomps," Jonathan warns as Blaze backs up.
Sherlock walks away from the stall to a crate starting to examine it.
