I beam as I note the failed attempts to destroy the scroll. If others could do it, I could. I would just... Have to figure something out!

Just putting it out there right now, I am not going down without a fight. There was no way at all that Ryu was going to win this. I was undefeatable, all time champion, and

I tuck the scroll away, watching a piece of dust float down in a ray of sunshine, finding myself becoming destracted.
Destroying these scrolls could wait, I'm going to go play with that shiney cool floating thing.

(That's alright. I do that with full on roleplays, I'll put in the response for the whole wrong character. Also, I'm ganna try and get the characters together, it's alright if it takes time but not to much. Cuz they have to be the hero group that looks for the truth. Oh, and I think that's adorable with Riley wanting to play with the floaty thing. xD)

The Lunar Lillies along the archive walls on vines seemed to fold up and curl away from the beam of light.

Riley

I pounce on the floating thing, jumping back in surprise as it whooshed back into the air. This was going to be fun. Much more fun than destroying silly old parchment. I wriggle my rump, preparing to pounce again. I shoot into the air, batting at the thing with my talon. The silly thing about this floating thing - I COULDN'T TOUCH IT AT ALL.
I mean, it moved as if I did, but I knew that the floaty thing was just being pushed by the displacment of air that my talons formed when clawing at it. Oooooh, this thing was fickle!
Ryu tries to play as well, but I (metephorically) shove him away. This floaty thing is mine! I found it. Finders keepers.

(That would be a tad bit sad, but this part of him is just precious, omg!)

A faint glimmer in the air gave a hint that someone else was there. Hazel eyes looked at the dragon from nowhere it seemed.

Riley

I notice the dragon eyes watching, and I puff my chest, deciding to start showing off.
Haha, well since to the dragons that are watching... Might as well give them a show!

Thankfully Ryu had taken my advice and shut up. It was time to show off and show how absolutely amazing I was at catching something I couldn't seem to land a talon on!
I bounce up, clapping my front talons together to try and catch the floaty thing. The floaty thing just shot into the sky and than began its lazy trip back down. I swing my tail at it, planning on bringing the floaty thing down in that way, but the floaty thing just dodged my tail and floated a little bit aways!
Fickle floating thing... I WILL GET YOU! I vow, pouncing on it.

The eyes belonged to a Camophang, Thistle, who came often to look at the scrolls when he wasn't supposed to. "Bouncy one." He said, as his scales shivered and then shifted their colors to that of the teal ish green Lunar Lillies. He tilted his head, watching Riley with eyes from hazel turning to blue.

Riley

I notice the changing of the dragon's scales, and stare in awe at the dragon, floaty thing long forgotten. "Hmmm?" I ask, wondering what the dragon needs. The red scales underneath my eyes slowly start to dim as I find Ryu taking over. And I let them. I wasn't chasing the floaty thing any more, so might as well let Ryu do all the boring talking.

Ryu

I stare up at the dragon expectantly, thinking that maybe the dragon had been referring to me-not-me (Riley) as the bouncy one. Usually someone called someone's name to get their attention before they talked, and I wasn't about to have Riley say something that would be rude to or annoy the older dragon.

Thistle came and sniffed in a bit before his snout went right against theirs. Their scales rippled to white and blue to match those of a Snowbliders. "Have you read them? Do you know?" He said softly, eyes turning expectant ice blue.
