The group continued on, Jordyn leading them steadily. The spider and its web is now far behind them.

Haki seems to be in a good mood. Maybe because she was right, maybe just because she isn't unhappy.

Something reached out of the shadows that were always encasing the edges of the survivors' vision, grabbing onto Hakira's arm. The thing that had grabbed Hakira was clammy and seemed to be disfigured.
Asher turns after asking Hakira a question and notices the monster. "Hey! A zombie! I was right! Zombies exist." He crows.

She hisses at it and tries to tug her arm away from the thing.

The zombie lurches forward, it's arm tugged out of its socet. Asher just remembers that zombies aren't good, and he charges forward, taking off the skull hat he's been wearing and, using it as a club, whacks at the zombie.

Haki growls at the thing, some small electric sparks shooting from her body.

The zombie convulses and falls to the ground, dead for the second time.
"Huh. Zombies seem pretty easy to defeat..."
"They hunt in packs, Asher. Everyone knows that. If there's one, there aught to be more of them somewhere." Jordyn says, nervously looking around.
"Pffft. Maybe this one is a loner or maybe it is the first..."
"This place has been here for a while, I'm pretty sure there will be more zombies following. We need to move." Jordyn says, ushering everyone forward.
Out of nowhere, a zombie hurls itself at Jordyn. Jordyn easily sidesteps and drags Hakira and Asher behind her. More and more zombies appear. Weird.
The zombies didn't seem to be wanting to kill them right then and there, but seemed more intent on slowing down and stalling the group.

Haki hurries to keep up with them- for such a lean and tall being, she's oddly slow.

Asher notices this, and slows down to match Hakira's pace, offering to help carry her until they got away.
"Just move, move, move. Don't stop." Jordyn says, shoving a zombie out of the way.

She hurries along as quickly as she can. Even then, she's slower than the other two.
